ABBA-VOULEZ-VOUS-1979-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-POLAR - POLS282.A rare Swedish original of the cult album.  Voulez-Vous is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop band ABBA, released in 1979. The release is characterized by a large number of dance-oriented tracks, but it is wrong to define the genre of the album as exclusively "disco"; for example, the song "Does Your Mother Know" has quite definite rock motifs. The work on the album went on for more than a year, and during this time the participants had accumulated more material than what they managed to put on the album. Among the works of that period published much later, it is worth mentioning the composition Dream World, included as a bonus track on the 2010 reissue. In 1981, the album "Voulez-Vous" was released in the USSR by the company "Melody" and became the last numbered album "ABBA", released in the Soviet Union. Naked" is an alternative version of the 1970 album "Let It Be", created from the original recordings of "The Beatles". The CD was released in November 2003. The track list has been changed in the new album, and the new versions of the songs include both digitally corrected errors and new arrangements of some songs. "Maggie Mae" and "Dig It" were replaced by "Don't Let Me Down". The bonus disc "Fly on the Wall" contains a 20-minute recording of working takes and dialogues recorded while working in the studio.
