Naked" is an alternative version of the 1970 album "Let It Be", created from the original recordings of "The Beatles". The CD was released in November 2003. The track list has been changed in the new album, and the new versions of the songs include both digitally corrected errors and new arrangements of some songs. "Maggie Mae" and "Dig It" were replaced by "Don't Let Me Down". The bonus disc "Fly on the Wall" contains a 20-minute recording of working takes and dialogues recorded while working in the studio. Passion and Warfare is the second studio album by guitarist Steve Vai, released on May 22, 1990 on Relativity and Epic Records. He received a gold certificate from the RIAA. Passion and Warfare was written based on a series of episodes of dreams that Vai had when he was younger, and in the album's guitar notes book Vai summarizes it this way: "Jimi Hendrix meets Jesus Christ at a party that Ben Hur arranged for Mel Blanc." It was all recorded at Mothership Studios in his Hollywood Hills home, a 1,600-square-foot (150 m2) building that also recorded his guitar parts for Whitesnake's 1989 album Slip of the Tongue. Whitesnake frontman David Coverdale has small spoken parts on the album; Coverdale, Adrian Vandenberg and Rudy Sarzo are credited with backing vocals. Vai claims that planning for the album began back in 1982, but was postponed after joining David Lee Roth's band and was not resumed until the breakup with Roth in 1989. ...more
