After the success of the previous album Some Girls, which became their biggest hit to date, The Rolling Stones returned to the Studio in early 1979, to begin writing and to write its sequel. Very rare Swedish original Spanish-language album. Gracias Por La Música is an album by the Swedish band ABBA, released in 1980. The release of Gracias Por La Música was prompted by the band's unexpected rise in popularity in Latin American countries such as Mexico and Argentina, following the release of Spanish-language versions of the songs " Chiquitita "and"I Have a Dream". The band members decided to record eight more songs in Spanish and release a full-length album specifically for this market. Buddy and Mary McCluskey, who worked at RCA Records in Argentina, were invited to translate the lyrics. The album was released in the USA on June 7, 1976 by Capitol Records (catalog number SKBO 11537), in the UK on June 10, 1976 by Parlophone (catalog number PCSP 719); at that time, some media suggested that the album was released on the twentieth anniversary of the first meeting of John Lennon and Paul McCartney.
