HARD STUFF-BULLETPROOF-1972-THE FIRST UK-PUP PRESS -TPSA7505. matrices A-1U/B-1U. 1G/1G Stamper (A Dream!!!!!)  Hard Stuff was formed in 1970 from already well-known musicians as a trio, but first under the name Daemon. It consists of bass guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist John Gustafson (participated in The Big Three, The Merseybeats, Quatermass, Roxy Music, Ian Gillan Band), guitarist and vocalist John Du Cann (Andromeda, Atomic Rooster), drummer Paul Hammond (Intellectuals, Atomic Rooster), as well as an unknown vocalist Al Sbawz. The result was, as it were, a fusion of two musicians who left Atomic Rooster and one who came from the disbanded Quatermass, plus a vocalist. With this line-up and under the name Daemon, they recorded the album “The Entrance to Hell” in 1971. Due to the non-release of the album, the band renamed itself Bullet, after which it toured a lot, including several times opening for Deep Purple and even released a couple of singles, but again in 1972 changed its name to Hard Stuff due to the presence of a group in the United States called Bullet, which may have threatened lawsuits. And with a new name, the band released two full-length albums on the chic Deep Purple label, and also continued to perform with successful concert tours, and perhaps would have done more, but unfortunately, having got into a serious car accident, so two members were seriously injured, and their further career was terminated. But still, they managed to create these wonderful releases already as a trio without vocalist Al Sbawz. MINOGUE, KYLIE-RHYTHM OF LOVE-1990-FIRST UK PRESS-PWL number PWLHF18.A rare original of the famous pop diva.  Rhythm of Love is the third studio album by Australian singer Kylie Minogue, released on November 12, 1990 in the UK on the PWL label and on December 3 of the same year in Australia on Mushroom Records. The recording of the album began in March 1990 and lasted until September. The main producers of the album were Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Minogue has also collaborated with a number of American authors and producers, including Keith Cohen, Stephen Bray and Michael Jay. The singer began to take part in songwriting: Rhythm of Love includes four compositions, co-authored by Minogue. Rhythm of Love is an album in the style of dance pop music, different from the singer's early works in the style of bubblegum pop. The compositions of the record are characterized by a more danceable sound, with its release, Minogue's image has become more liberated and sexy. The CD received positive reviews from music critics, who called it the best work of the performer during her collaboration with Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Compared to Minogue's previous albums, Rhythm of Love turned out to be less successful in terms of sales: the record reached the ninth line of the British charts, thus becoming the singer's first studio release not to reach the first line. In the Australian music ranking, the album secured the tenth position, which allowed it to become Minogue's third work to enter the top ten of this chart. QUICKSILVER MESSENGER SERVICE -HAPPY TRAILS-1969-THE FIRST USA-CAPITOL-ST-120 PRESS. A rare American original of the iconic album. Happy Trails is the second album by the American band Quicksilver Messenger Service. Most of the album was recorded from two performances at Fillmore East and Fillmore West, although it is unclear which parts were recorded at which Fillmore. The record was released by Capitol Records in 1969 in stereo format.  The album was an unexpected commercial success, peaking at number 27 on Billboard and eventually received a gold certification (over 500,000 copies sold in the United States) in 1992 by the Recording Industry Association of America. It was voted at number 553 in Colin Larkin's album "1000 Best Albums of All Time" 3rd edition (2000). In 2003, the album was ranked 189th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time, retaining the ranking in the revised 2012 list. He was ranked 44th in Rolling Stone's "50 Coolest Records." Quicksilver's "Mona" was ranked 88th on Rolling Stone's list of the 100 Greatest Guitar Songs of All Time.   ...more
