Lot 25KRAFTWERK-RALF AND FLORIAN-1973-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-PHILIPS-NMINT/NMINT

KRAFTWERK-RALF AND FLORIAN-1973-THE FIRST PRESS GERMANY-PHILIPS-6305197 Mega rare original in full configuration, with a poster for 8 spreads. The third studio album by the German electronic band Kraftwerk. It was released in October 1973 on Philips. In it, the band moved towards their signature electronic sound.. In 1975, it reached number 160 on the US Top 200 Albums chart. Along with Kraftwerk's first two albums, Ralf und Florian has not been officially reissued anywhere to date, and the band has not performed any of their material live since the late 70s. Nevertheless, the album remains an influential and sought-after work. In 2008, Fact named it one of the 20 greatest ambient albums ever made.   The record included a "musical" poster with caricatures of Emil Schult, who played the electric violin live with the band (although he does not appear on the album recordings). Schult remained an employee of Kraftwerk. Cartoons illustrated each track of the album, as well as the city of Dusseldorf with the caption "In Dusseldorf on the Rhine, klingt es bald!", which literally translates from English as "In Dusseldorf on the Rhine it will sound soon"

Vinyl record in clean top condition - NMINT/ARCHIVE. The cover is laminated in top condition- NMINT/ARCHIVE). Labels in a clean state - NMINT/ARCHIVE. The poster is in top condition.

Lot 65.BEE GEES-HIGH CIVILIZATION-1991-FIRST PRESS UK/EU GERMANY-WARNER-NMINT/NMINT

BEE GEES-HIGH CIVILIZATION-1991-FIRST PRESS UK/EU GERMANY-WARNER-7599-26530-1. A rare original of the cult group. High Civilization is the nineteenth studio album by the British pop group the Bee Gees, released on March 25, 1991 in the United Kingdom, and on May 14, 1991 in the United States-their last album recorded for Warner Bros. Records, after a four-year contract (they will return to WB through a subsidiary company Reprise Records in 2006: having obtained the rights to their previously released material, they will reissue each album through Reprise). Perhaps in response to the firm resistance of American radio to the two previous albums-E. S. P. (1987) and One (1989), which proved well in other countries, the American Warner Bros. gave this advertisement one less share and did not release remixes. They recorded this album, and their next album size is not everything with engineer Femi Gia.  In the US, the album was only available on CD and cassette, but the LP version was released in limited quantities in some countries. While it failed to chart in the US, it reached No. 6 in Switzerland, No. 2 in Germany (achieving platinum certification in both countries), No. 24 in the UK. ...more

URIAH HEEP-...VERY 'EAVY VERY 'UMBLE-1970-THE FIRST UK PRESS- VERTIGO SWIRL-6360006.  A mega rare British original of the iconic album. The album was released in June 1970 by Vertigo Records in the UK. The original vinyl release was a spread-out envelope with frontman David Byron depicted on the front sleeve, almost unrecognizable under the cobwebs. It was released in August 1970 by Mercury Records in the United States under the name just Uriah Heep with a different artwork on the cover (a centipede-type monster) and with the track "Bird of Prey" instead of "Lucy Blues". The album was re-released by Bronze Records in 1971 after the band signed with that label. The album shows the band trying out different genres – a mix of heavy metal and progressive rock, rather than the hard rock they became known for on later albums. Tracks 3 and 8 were recorded as Spice songs before the band was renamed Uriah Heep, and featured session musician Colin Wood on keyboards. When Ken Hensley joined Spice in early 1970, the tracks were not re-recorded. ...more
