A rare British original album by the iconic beat group. It's the Searchers is the fifth studio album by the English rock band The Searchers and the first album by the band that did not enter the official Top 20 albums chart in the United Kingdom. Released in late 1965, it was the last album by the Searchers before the departure of band leader Chris Curtis. The album includes several songs written by the band members, as well as cover versions of some famous tracks originally recorded by The Ronettes ("Be My Baby"), Fats Domino ("I'm Ready"), Marvin Gaye ("I'll Be Doggone") or Ian and Sylvia ("Four Strong Winds"). CHARLES LLOYD-SOUNDTRACK- 1969-FIRST PRESS USA-ATLANTIC-SD1519. A rare original by one of the iconic saxophonists of the second wave of the 60s. The Soundtrack is a live album by jazz saxophonist Charles Lloyd, recorded at New York City Hall in 1968 by the Charles Lloyd Quartet featuring Keith Jarrett, Ron McClure and Jack DeJohnette.Tom Jurek's review on Allmusic awarded the album 4 stars and reads: "The soundtrack stomps with all the fury of a live gospel choir trying to assign Saturday night to God and not another guy... The band is in a heavy Latin American mood, where blues, samba, bossa, hard bop, modal and even soul are saturated with blues. With only four tunes presented, the Charles Lloyd Quartet, although slightly more dissonant than in 1966 and 1967, plays much harder, rougher and gets into rhythm faster than any group that Lloyd led previously... The band broke up shortly after when Jarrett left to play with Miles Davis, but if it had been a swan song live, they couldn't have picked a better gig. ...more

It was released on February 4, 1991. The last album "Queen", recorded and released during the lifetime of Freddie Mercury. The name Innuendo contains an "indirect hint" that the band in such a composition will not last very long. The last songs were very difficult for Freddie, who was already seriously ill. Nevertheless, the album was finished and well received by the public. Several music videos were shot in support of him, one of which, "These Are The Days of Our Lives", became the last video featuring Mercury.Despite mixed reviews from critics, Queen's new album reached the top spot in the album charts of the Netherlands, Switzerland, Italy, Germany and her native UK, becoming double platinum. ...more
