GEORDIE-DON'T BE FOOLED BY THE NAME-1974-THE FIRST DENMARK PRESS-EMI- EMA764. Matrix A-3/B-3. A very rare Danish original hard rock style icon in top condition. Geordie's second album "Don't be fooled by the name" (1974) became both the most interesting and the most successful work of the band: Melody Maker noted their "incredible drive", and NME recognized that "Malcolm writes great songs, and Johnson brilliantly performs them." One of the most interesting numbers on the record was the hard rock version of the standard "The House of the Rising Sun" (later that year, it was released as a single and reached the Top 20). Oddly enough, this was Geordie's last hit on the popularity lists of Britain or Western Europe. Throughout 1975, the band traveled continuously around Britain and Europe, exploiting their unexpected success. The only single released in the same year, "Wizard", went unnoticed. The failure also befell the concept album Save the world, released in early 1976, their rather clumsy attempt to stake out a plot in the territory of art rock. Geordie's star set as quickly as it rose. Deciding that the bandmates were to blame for everything, Johnson left Geordie in the summer of 1976 and signed a personal contract with MCA Records. Recorded with new partners and released in the same year, the album "Brian Johnson and Geordie" included reworking of the band's old hits, but did not return success. Johnson's second and last solo album "Strange man" was released on New Year's Eve, but it was also met with little enthusiasm by listeners. Johnson returned to Newcastle, where, forgetting to think about rock, he worked as a technician at a gas station until someone from AC/DC's entourage (some unknown fan) mentioned him, trying to find a replacement for the deceased Bon Scott. Eight of the twelve tracks were previously released on single B-sides in the United Kingdom, and the rest on EPS. The song "Sad Day" was released as a single from the album. Neither the album nor the single "Sad Day" were released with the consent of the band, which lost control of its catalog, released before 1971, when it terminated its contract with Decca Records.. ...more

YES-UNION-1991-THE FIRST PRESS OF GERMANY-ARISTA number 211558 is a rare original of the great prog band.  Union is the thirteenth studio album by the British progressive rock band Yes, released in 1991 under the Arista Records label. The album is supposed to be a reunion of Yes (John Aderson, Chris Squire, Trevor Rabin, Tony Kaye, Alan White) with Anderson Bruford Wakeman Howe (also including John Anderson with Bill Bruford, Rick Wakeman and Steve Howe). Half a million copies were sold in the USA, which corresponds to the gold status. Parsley, Sage, Rosemary and Thyme is the third studio album by American folk rock duo Simon and Garfunkel. Produced by Bob Johnston, the album was released on October 24, 1966 in the United States on Columbia Records. Many critics consider it a breakthrough recording for the duo and one of their best works. "Homeward Bound" has already entered the top five hits in many countries, and "Scarborough Fair / Chant" went similarly. The album reached number four on the Pop Albums chart and was eventually certified triple platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America. A rare original of the cult group. High Civilization is the nineteenth studio album by the British pop group the Bee Gees, released on March 25, 1991 in the United Kingdom, and on May 14, 1991 in the United States-their last album recorded for Warner Bros. Records, after a four-year contract (they will return to WB through a subsidiary company Reprise Records in 2006: having obtained the rights to their previously released material, they will reissue each album through Reprise). Perhaps in response to the firm resistance of American radio to the two previous albums-E. S. P. (1987) and One (1989), which proved well in other countries, the American Warner Bros. gave this advertisement one less share and did not release remixes. They recorded this album, and their next album size is not everything with engineer Femi Gia.  In the US, the album was only available on CD and cassette, but the LP version was released in limited quantities in some countries. While it failed to chart in the US, it reached No. 6 in Switzerland, No. 2 in Germany (achieving platinum certification in both countries), No. 24 in the UK. ...more
