Matrices A-2 CP- CTH/B-1 CTH.  A rare American early edition with the first matrices . The Soft Parade is the fourth studio album by the American rock band The Doors, released on July 18, 1969 on the Elektra label. The Soft Parade has not received approval from either critics or listeners. So, in the Billboard 200, the record reached only the sixth position, and in the charts of the UK and other European countries, the disc did not debut at all, unlike its predecessor Waiting for the Sun (1968). Of all the singles released in support of the album — "Touch Me", "Wishful Sinful", "Tell All the People"ruen and "Runnin' Blue" — only the first achieved sales success: it reached the third line in the Billboard Hot 100 and then received gold certification by the RIAA. Many music publications, for example, Rolling Stone, were dissatisfied with the record, mainly due to The Doors' attempt to move away from their style to the use of orchestral arrangements. Over time, music historians have changed their opinion about The Soft Parade for the better, but the CD is still recognized as one of the weakest works of the band during Morrison's lifetime. ...more

It was the band's only release on ABC Records. It was produced by Roy Haley and former band drummer Bobby Colomby. Columbi and Haley also co-produced the band's fourth album, Blood, Sweat & Tears; 4, in 1971. The New Day failed to chart on the Billboard 200, peaking at number 205. Jason Elias wrote for AllMusic: "For the most part, Brand New Day wasn't as innovative or grandiose as previous releases, but fans will enjoy some of the best moments." ...more

WATERS, ROGER-THE WALL LIVE IN BERLIN (2LP)-1990-FIRST PRESS HOLLAND-MERCURY-846613-1. A rare European original of the cult concert. The Wall: Live in Berlin is a concert performance of the legendary rock opera The Wall by Pink Floyd, organized by its main author Roger Waters and held on July 21, 1990 at Berlin's Potsdamer Platz, which has long been divided by the Berlin Wall. The concert was filmed as a TV movie, and also released in September 1990 as a live album. The concert took place in the presence of a 200,000-strong audience on July 21, 1990 at Potsdamer Platz, which was previously a no-man's land separating East and West Berlin. During the concert, a "wall" with a width of more than 160 m and a height of about 25 m was erected on the stage, which was finally destroyed to the ground. Hymns to the Silence is the twenty-first studio album by Northern Irish singer-songwriter Van Morrison. It was his first studio double album. Morrison recorded the album in 1990 in Buckington at The Wool Hall Studios and in London at the Townhouse and Westside Studios. When Hymns to the Silence was released in 1991, it reached number five on the UK Albums Chart and received positive reviews from critics. Morrison's use of various musical styles was well received, as were the more mundane songs from the album, with an otherwise spiritual content. ...more
