Matrices A-1CP/B-1CP PITMAN PRESS.  A rare American original of the second press of the cult album.. Morrison Hotel is the fifth studio album by American rock band The Doors. On the front of the album cover there is a photo of the band through the glass in the lobby of the Morrison Hotel, which really existed in Los Angeles at 1246 South Hope Street, on the back there is a photo of a diner called "Hard Rock Cafe" The album reached No. 4 on the Billboard 200 and performed better abroad than the previous album (it was The band's highest charting studio album in the UK, where it peaked at No. 12).
