This is a compilation album by the American band Sly and the Family Stone. It was first released on November 21, 1970 by Epic Records. The album includes all the singles from the albums Dance to the Music (1968), Life (1968) and Stand! (1969). Three tracks released as singles in 1969 first appear on the album here: "Hot Fun in the Summertime", "Everybody Is a Star" and "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)". The recordings in this compilation do not always match the versions of the singles; some songs are presented here in their album version and mixes. Mixes sometimes have different editing and vocal and/or instrumentation changes. Greatest Hits was certified five times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), selling five million copies in the United States. A very rare British original with the first matrices .Houses of the Holy is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Led Zeppelin, released on March 28, 1973 on Atlantic Records. Page described the idea of the cover as "a symbol of innocence, an expression of the idea that we are all beings who aspire to the promised heaven." Six-year-old Samantha Gates and her four-year-old brother Stefan posed. The cover photo is a collage of more than thirty pictures. The album cover did not contain any information about the artists or the title. In the USA, the headline was written on ribbons that were taped over children's buttocks. Despite this precaution, the record was banned in many states of the "Bible Belt". "They wouldn't let us do anything like that today, they would immediately accuse us of pedophilia propaganda," says Powell, "but we were hippies, walking around naked was completely commonplace for us." In 2011, the album cover was ranked 28th in the list of the best album covers of all time by the online edition of Music Radar. A rare British original of the cult album by the famous Italian prog band. Chocolate Kings is the sixth album by the Italian progressive rock band Premiata Forneria Marconi (also known as PFM). It was released in 1975 by Numero Uno, a division of RCA Records in Italy. It was also released with a different cover on Manticore Records in the UK and Asylum Records in the USA.It was the first album to feature Bernardo Lanzetti (former Acqua Fragile vocalist) as lead vocals. It was also their first album whose lyrics were originally written in English, as the band felt they were better suited to the music they were creating at the time.[3] The lyrics for "From Under" and "Chocolate Kings" were written by Marva Jan Murrow, an American friend of the band who lived in Italy at the time. ...more
