QUEEN-A NIGHT AT THE OPERA-1975-THE FIRST UK PRESS-EMI - EMTC103.Matrices A-3/B-3. A rare British original. A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by the rock band Queen, released on December 2, 1975. The record was a great success: its sales reached three million, and it held the top position in the UK charts for four inconsistent weeks. The title of the album — "Night at the Opera" — as well as the subsequent one, is taken from the repertoire of American comedians of the 1930s by the Marx brothers, namely from the film of the same name. At each Queen concert, several songs from A Night at the Opera were necessarily performed (while "Love of My Life" was never performed in the album version). It is generally believed that the song "Death on Two Legs" is dedicated to the former producer of the band. "Bohemian Rhapsody" brought the band a resounding success and in 2000 was recognized in Britain as the "song of the millennium". The final album, "God Save the Queen", is the British national anthem arranged by Brian May; it was this composition that invariably completed each concert of the band. The album was ranked number 230 on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All Time in 2003, and number 128 on the 2020 list.

DOORS-SOFT PARADE-1969-ORIGINAL PRESS 1970 USA-ELEKTRA-EKS75005. Matrices A-2 CP- CTH/B-1 CTH. A rare American early edition with the first matrices . The Soft Parade is the fourth studio album by the American rock band The Doors, released on July 18, 1969 on the Elektra label. The Soft Parade has not received approval from either critics or listeners. So, in the Billboard 200, the record reached only the sixth position, and in the charts of the UK and other European countries, the disc did not debut at all, unlike its predecessor Waiting for the Sun (1968). Of all the singles released in support of the album — "Touch Me", "Wishful Sinful", "Tell All the People"ruen and "Runnin' Blue" — only the first achieved sales success: it reached the third line in the Billboard Hot 100 and then received gold certification by the RIAA. Many music publications, for example, Rolling Stone, were dissatisfied with the record, mainly due to The Doors' attempt to move away from their style to the use of orchestral arrangements. Over time, music historians have changed their opinion about The Soft Parade for the better, but the CD is still recognized as one of the weakest works of the band during Morrison's lifetime. ...more

HARD STUFF-BULLETPROOF-1972-THE FIRST UK-PUP PRESS -TPSA7505. matrices A-1U/B-1U. 1G/1G Stamper (A Dream!!!!!) Hard Stuff was formed in 1970 from already well-known musicians as a trio, but first under the name Daemon. It consists of bass guitarist, keyboardist and vocalist John Gustafson (participated in The Big Three, The Merseybeats, Quatermass, Roxy Music, Ian Gillan Band), guitarist and vocalist John Du Cann (Andromeda, Atomic Rooster), drummer Paul Hammond (Intellectuals, Atomic Rooster), as well as an unknown vocalist Al Sbawz. The result was, as it were, a fusion of two musicians who left Atomic Rooster and one who came from the disbanded Quatermass, plus a vocalist. With this line-up and under the name Daemon, they recorded the album “The Entrance to Hell” in 1971. Due to the non-release of the album, the band renamed itself Bullet, after which it toured a lot, including several times opening for Deep Purple and even released a couple of singles, but again in 1972 changed its name to Hard Stuff due to the presence of a group in the United States called Bullet, which may have threatened lawsuits. And with a new name, the band released two full-length albums on the chic Deep Purple label, and also continued to perform with successful concert tours, and perhaps would have done more, but unfortunately, having got into a serious car accident, so two members were seriously injured, and their further career was terminated. But still, they managed to create these wonderful releases already as a trio without vocalist Al Sbawz. The first full-length album “Bulletproof” was released in 1972 on the famous Purple Records label, which was created in 1971 by the leadership of Deep Purple. ...more
