CHILLY-FOR YOUR LOVE-1978-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-POLYDOR -2371885.A mega rare first album by a disco band of the highest standard. Chilly was a German euro disco/rock band from 1978 to 1983. They were created and produced by producer, composer and songwriter Bernt Merle. Their first album "For your Love" included the 11:50 suite (extended version) of the song "For Your Love", recorded with an arrangement by Christian Kolonowitz and Bernt Merle. The original song "For Your Love" was a Yardbirds hit, released in 1965 and written by Graham Gouldman. Bernt Merle added new lyrics and composed additional music to the arrangement of "I Walk alone", and the suite became a great international disco hit. Bernt Merle created with "For Your Love" a new standard in disco music of the late 70s - early 80s. The song remained on the Billboard Dance club songs chart for 7 weeks, peaking at number 38 in April 1979. ...more

LOREDANA BERTE- SAVOIR FAIRE -1984-FIRST PRESS UK/EU -HOLLAND-CBS-CBS26107. A rare European original of the iconic album. Savoir fair is the tenth studio album by the Italian pop star. The first success came in 1975, the song "You are beautiful" ("Sei bellissima"), stayed in the Italian charts for 14 weeks, then entered the album "Normal or super" ("Normale o super", 1976) — the first, produced by Mario Lavezzi, as well as the first song of one of the largest Italian composers Ivan Fossati. His song "Dedicated" ("Dedicato"), performed in 1978 by Berthe, and again censored, this time politically, was repeatedly played on Italian TV. The 1979 album "Banda Berte" ("BandaBertè"), including the song "And the moon knocked ..." ("... E la luna bussò", in the rhythm of reggae), again reached high places in the Italian charts. For this album, Berthe again receives the "Vota la voce" award as the best performer. In 1981, Loredana spent several months in the United States recording the album "Made in Italy", in New York she met with E.By Warhol. In 1982, Berte won the "Festival Bar" with the song "I am not that signora" ("Non sono una signora", which rose to 5th place in the weekly and to 32 in the annual Italian hit parade, included in one of her most successful albums "Crossings" ("Traslocando", 7 and 38 places, respectively.. The album's producer is again I. Fossati, who also became the author of a number of songs featuring interesting melodies and philosophical lyrics. Berte performs at Madison Square Garden, participates in numerous Italian TV programs (Fantastico, etc.), marries Roberto Berger, the son of billionaire Tommaso Berger, the marriage did not last long. In 1984, in the delicate and exquisite album "The ability to create" ("Savoir faire"), for the third time the producer was I.Fossati. The ambitious 1985 album Carioca is dedicated to the work of Brazilian musician Javan, the lyrics are written by Bruno Lauci and Enrico Rudgeri. On March 1, 1984[4] Berte came to the USSR for the first time, together with Italian television, Soviet television made a musical film "Autograph" (1984), which included recordings made on the streets of Moscow, at the circus on Tsvetnoy Boulevard, in Zelenograd and Tallinn. ...more

A rare American original of the iconic album.  A 1973 live album by Dave Brubeck and his quintet, recorded in various places in Europe. The album reached number 20 on the Billboard Top Jazz Charts. "Truth", "Unfinished Woman" and "Take Five" were recorded at the Berlin Philharmonic, "Koto Song" was recorded at the Olympia in Paris, and "Rotterdam Blues" and "Sweet Georgia Brown" were recorded at the De Doelen Concert Hall in Rotterdam. The album was reviewed by Scott Yanow of Allmusic, who wrote that "For this very logical record, the altruist Paul Desmond . . .. turns the band into a quintet, and his interaction with Mulligan is consistently delightful. ...In addition, Desmond is featured in the "Koto Song", and for an encore Brubeck performs the lighthearted, albeit brief "Sweet Georgia Brown".". ...more

This is a compilation album by the American band Sly and the Family Stone. It was first released on November 21, 1970 by Epic Records. The album includes all the singles from the albums Dance to the Music (1968), Life (1968) and Stand! (1969). Three tracks released as singles in 1969 first appear on the album here: "Hot Fun in the Summertime", "Everybody Is a Star" and "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)". The recordings in this compilation do not always match the versions of the singles; some songs are presented here in their album version and mixes.
