MEN AT WORK-BUSINESS IS USUAL -1981-THE FIRST UK PRESS- EPIC-EPC85669. A rare British original of the iconic album. Business as Usual is the debut studio album by Australian new wave band People at Work, which was released in November 1981 in Australia and April 1982 in the United States. It spent nine weeks at the top of the Australian Kent Music Report Albums chart from December 1981 to March 1982. The Australian version had a black and white cover; the foreign releases had a similar design, but in a black and yellow color scheme. Business as Usual was one of the Australian band's most successful albums internationally. It spent an unprecedented 15 weeks at number one on the US Billboard 200 from late 1982 to early 1983; and five weeks at number one on the United Kingdom Albums chart in early 1983. ABBA-MORE ABBA GOLD (2LP'S) -1993-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-GERMANY-POLYDOR-519353-1. A very rare original double compilation of the cult band with unrealized tracks, among others.  The ABBA Gold album featured 19 of the most notable hits on an international scale, but some equally well-known songs like "Summer Night City" and "Angeleyes" remained "overboard". He also did not include a number of other songs by the band (recordings from the early 1980s: "Head over Heels" and "The Day Before You Came"; b-sides of famous singles and just tracks from albums, as well as "I Am the City", recorded in 1982, but never released). CHILLY-FOR YOUR LOVE-1978-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-POLYDOR -2371885.A mega rare first album by a disco band of the highest standard. Chilly was a German euro disco/rock band from 1978 to 1983. They were created and produced by producer, composer and songwriter Bernt Merle. Their first album "For your Love" included the 11:50 suite (extended version) of the song "For Your Love", recorded with an arrangement by Christian Kolonowitz and Bernt Merle. The original song "For Your Love" was a Yardbirds hit, released in 1965 and written by Graham Gouldman. Bernt Merle added new lyrics and composed additional music to the arrangement of "I Walk alone", and the suite became a great international disco hit. Bernt Merle created with "For Your Love" a new standard in disco music of the late 70s - early 80s. The song remained on the Billboard Dance club songs chart for 7 weeks, peaking at number 38 in April 1979. ...more

CREEDENCE CLEARWATER REVIVAL-PENDULUM-1970-THE FIRST UK PRESS-LIBERTY-LBG83400. Matrices A-1/B-1. A very rare British original of the cult album. Pendulum is the sixth studio album by American band Creedence Clearwater Revival, recorded at Wally Hyder's studio in San Francisco and released on the Fantasy label in December 1970. Pendulum is the last CCR album to feature rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty, who left the band shortly after the album's release. The record demonstrates the group's desire to expand its own stylistic framework, a number of his compositions are musically noticeably more complex than the CCR recordings of the 1968-1969 sample. The most ambitious of the band's seven albums, Pendulum was recorded for about a month — twice as long as the rest of the records. ...more
