The seventh studio album by the British-American rock band Foreigner, released on June 14, 1991 on Atlantic Records. Unusual Heat suffered a commercial failure, reaching only number 117 on the Billboard chart due to a sharp drop in sales compared to all previous albums, each of which reached the Top 20 and became at least platinum. None of the two singles released from the album made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and "Lowdown and Dirty" only reached number 4 on the Mainstream Rock chart. ...more

The cult album Dressed to Kill is the third studio album by the American hard rock band Kiss, released on March 19, 1975. It was produced by Casablanca Records president Bill Bogart and the band itself, as the label's financial situation at the time did not allow hiring a professional producer. Dressed to Kill peaked at number 32 on the Billboard 200 Albums chart in the United States and was certified gold by the RIAA on February 28, 1977. "Come On, Love Me" and "Rock and Roll All Nite" were released as singles, but failed to climb the charts. The live version of "Rock and Roll All Nite" by Alive!, released as a single later that year, reached number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100. ...more

WARHORSE-WARHORSE-1970-THE FIRST UK PRESS-VERTIGO SWIRL-6360015. A mega rare original of the first album by the iconic British prog band.  Warhorse is a band formed by ex-Deep Purple bassist Nick Simper. The band existed from 1970 to 1974 (partial reunions in 1985, 2005). The band's sound was close to the style of the early Deep Purple.  After his forced departure from Deep Purple, Nick Simper started organizing a new band. Initially, he planned to involve well-known musicians Albert Lee and Mick Underwood in the collaboration, but this alliance did not take place. The new band was based on guitarist Jed Pack and drummer Mac Poole, musicians who played with Simper in the accompanying Marsha Hunt line—up. The new band also includes vocalist Ashley Holt and keyboardist Rick Wakeman. The band received the name "Iron Horse", which was soon changed to "Warhorse". Wakeman proved to be an unreliable partner and left the band in April, before the band had even made any recordings. Instead, keyboardist Frank Wilson was recruited into the band, with whom the debut demo "Miss Jane" was made. In 1970, the band signed a contract with Phonograms, a division of Vertigo Records, and began recording their debut album. The Warhorse album was released in November 1970. The song "St. Louis" (a cover of "Easybeats") was released as a single and was most popular with the public. A very rare British original of the iconic album. Peace For Our Time is the second album by the English progressive jazz-rock band Warm Dust, released in 1971 on an obscure label Trend in the UK. In 1971, the album was also released in the USA (UNI Records 73109), Italy (Stateside, EMI Italiana S.p.A 3C 062-92228) - everywhere in the same envelope with a spread, and in Italy also on white vinyl (probably because in April 1971 Warm Dust was awarded a reception by the Pope at the Vatican). This is a concept album, the idea of which is expressed in the title itself, as the cover suggests to us. Under the title Peace For Our Time (Peace for Our Time) attributed to: Neville Chamberlain, September 30, 1938. The story is as follows. On September 30, 1938, British Prime Minister Neville Chamberlain returned to London after signing the ill-fated Munich Agreement, according to which Germany ate a good piece of Czechoslovakia in the form of the Sudetenland. Chamberlain stood with this document outside the Foreign Office in Downing Street and spoke complacently: "Dear friends, for the second time in our history, an honorable peace returns from Germany to Downing Street. I believe this is the world for our time. We thank you from the bottom of our hearts, and I recommend that you go home and sleep peacefully in your beds." And the next day, Hitler's troops occupied Czechoslovakia, and a year later the Second World War began. Since then, this phrase has been ironic or sarcastic, if you will. ...more
