JIMI HENDRIX EXPERIENCE-ELECTRIC LADYLAND-1968 ORIGINAL PRESS 1973 UK-POLYDOR - 2310269-70. A very early reissue of the album with a re-recorded sound. Electric Ladyland is the third and final album by the Jimi Hendrix Experience, released in 1968.Recording the album was accompanied by constant difficulties. After a troubled tour of Scandinavia and England, Hendricks decided to move to the US. Disillusioned with the creative limitations of record companies, he set up his own Studio in new York city, where he could implement all his musical ideas. The construction of the Studio was accompanied by problems, and its construction was finally completed only in the mid-70s.As a result, Jimi recorded the bulk of the material at the Record Plant studios. Due to difficulties in his relationship with the band's bassist, Noel reading, Jimi played most of the bass guitar parts himself, including the bass solo on "1983". After his high-profile 1989 hit album "Trash", Cooper tried to follow up his success with the next album, which featured Lance Bulen, Slash, Ozzy Osbourne, Vinnie Moore, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, Nikki Sixx and Mick Mars (both from Motley Crüe). Hey Stoopid was Cooper's last album featuring bassist Hugh McDonald before he joined Bon Jovi in 1994.  According to Cooper's assistant Brian Renfield, an alternative cover was initially considered, which Renfield described as "hardcore with syringe needles, pills ..." It is noteworthy that in the track "Feed My Frankenstein" the famous guitar duo of Steve Vai and Joe Satriani plays together accompanied by Nikki Sixx on bass.
