A very rare British original of the cult ROLLING STONES album. Big Hits (High Tide and Green Grass)is the first compilation album by The Rolling Stones. With various covers and track listings, it was released on March 28, 1966 on London Records in the United States and on November 4, 1966 on Decca Records in the United Kingdom. The American edition focused on the songs of 1964 and 1965 with two new melodies: the recent "19th Nervous Breakdown" and the re-recorded "Time Is on My Side" with a guitar intro. The British version covered a longer period, starting with the band's first A-side single in 1963, "Come On", and ending with several songs from 1966, including the recent hit "Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing in the Shadow?" The album reached number three on the US Billboard 200 chart[1] and number four on the UK albums chart. It remained on the chart for 99 weeks in the United States, where the RIAA certified the album as double platinum, which meant more than two million copies sold. ...more

A very rare original of the cult album Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One, usually shortened to Lola Versus Powerman or simply Lola, is the eighth studio album by the English rock band The Kinks, released on November 27, 1970. It is a concept album that is a satirical assessment of the music industry, including song publishers, trade unions, the press, accountants, business managers and life on tour. This marked the expansion of the band to five members with the addition of keyboardist John Gosling. Despite the fact that the album Lola Versus Powerman was released during a transitional period for The Kinks, it was a success with both critics and the public, hitting the top 40 in America and bringing the band back into the public eye, becoming a "comeback". Stamper 1G./1G (A Dream!)  A rare British original. Silverhead is a British glam rock band founded in early 1972, led by singer and actor Michael Des Barres. The other band members were: Robbie Blunt (guitar), Rod Rook Davis (guitar, percussion, vocals), Nigel Harrison (bass guitar) and Pete Thompson (drums, percussion, keyboards, vocals). They signed with Deep Purple's Purple Records label and recorded two studio albums, Silverhead (1972) and 16 and Savaged (1973), and were part of the 1970s glam rock music scene. In the UK, they have opened for bands such as Nazareth at Finsbury Park and Osibisa at Brixton Sandown, and have also headlined at Dagenham Roundhouse. Work on the third studio album (working title "Brutiful") began in 1974, but the band broke up in July 1974 before it was finished. ...more

A very rare original of the iconic album  The Kink Kontroversy is the third studio album by English rock band The Kinks. It was released in the United Kingdom on November 26, 1965 by Pye Records. Released in the United States on March 30, 1966 by Reprise Records, it became The Kinks' first American album with the same track list as its British counterpart. This is a transitional album containing elements of both earlier Kinks styles (songs with strong blues influences such as "Milk Cow Blues" and variations on the themes of the band's hits from 1964 to 1965 based on power chords such as "Until the End of the Day") and early indications of the future direction of Ray Davis' songwriting styles ("The World Keeps Going Round" and "I'm on an Island"). The title notes were written by Michael Aldred. The single "Till the End of the Day" became a real hit, peaking at number 8 in the UK and number 50 in the US, staying on each chart for eight weeks or more. ...more
