A very rare original of the cult album Lola Versus Powerman and the Moneygoround, Part One, usually shortened to Lola Versus Powerman or simply Lola, is the eighth studio album by the English rock band The Kinks, released on November 27, 1970. It is a concept album that is a satirical assessment of the music industry, including song publishers, trade unions, the press, accountants, business managers and life on tour. This marked the expansion of the band to five members with the addition of keyboardist John Gosling. Despite the fact that the album Lola Versus Powerman was released during a transitional period for The Kinks, it was a success with both critics and the public, hitting the top 40 in America and bringing the band back into the public eye, becoming a "comeback". It included two hit singles: "Lola", which reached the top 10 in the US and UK, and "Apeman", which reached number five in the UK.

A very rare original of the iconic album The Kink Kontroversy is the third studio album by English rock band The Kinks. It was released in the United Kingdom on November 26, 1965 by Pye Records. Released in the United States on March 30, 1966 by Reprise Records, it became The Kinks' first American album with the same track list as its British counterpart. This is a transitional album containing elements of both earlier Kinks styles (songs with strong blues influences such as "Milk Cow Blues" and variations on the themes of the band's hits from 1964 to 1965 based on power chords such as "Until the End of the Day") and early indications of the future direction of Ray Davis' songwriting styles ("The World Keeps Going Round" and "I'm on an Island"). The title notes were written by Michael Aldred.
