SILVERHEAD-SAME-1973-THE FIRST UK-PURPLE-TPSA7506 PRESS. Matrices A-1U/B-1U. Stamper 1G./1G (A Dream!)  A rare British original. Silverhead is a British glam rock band founded in early 1972, led by singer and actor Michael Des Barres. The other band members were: Robbie Blunt (guitar), Rod Rook Davis (guitar, percussion, vocals), Nigel Harrison (bass guitar) and Pete Thompson (drums, percussion, keyboards, vocals). They signed with Deep Purple's Purple Records label and recorded two studio albums, Silverhead (1972) and 16 and Savaged (1973), and were part of the 1970s glam rock music scene. In the UK, they have opened for bands such as Nazareth at Finsbury Park and Osibisa at Brixton Sandown, and have also headlined at Dagenham Roundhouse. Work on the third studio album (working title "Brutiful") began in 1974, but the band broke up in July 1974 before it was finished.

Chuck Berry on Stage is Chuck Berry's first live album, [a] released in 1963 by Chess Records. Despite being positioned as a live album, it is a collection of previously released studio recordings (with the exception of "All Aboard", "Trick or Treat", "I Just Want To Make Love To You", "Still Got The Blues" and a previously unreleased alternative version of "Brown-Eyed Handsome Man") with superimposed audience sounds to simulate a concert recording. One of the album's tracks, titled "Surfin' USA", is "Sweet Little Sixteen", originally released in 1958, the melody of which was used in The Beach Boys' 1963 hit "Surfin' USA".
