It was recorded at Trident Studios in London in March 1970 and released in October 1970 in the UK and January 1971 in the USA. This is a concept album based on the themes of country and western and Americana. All songs written by John and Bernie Taupin, except "Love Song" by Leslie Duncan. In 2012, Tumbleweed Connection was ranked 458th on Rolling Stone magazine's list of the 500 Greatest Albums of All time. The album reached number two on the UK Albums Chart and number five on the US Billboard 200 chart. The recording of the album began in March 1990 and lasted until September. The main producers of the album were Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Minogue has also collaborated with a number of American authors and producers, including Keith Cohen, Stephen Bray and Michael Jay. The singer began to take part in songwriting: Rhythm of Love includes four compositions, co-authored by Minogue. Rhythm of Love is an album in the style of dance pop music, different from the singer's early works in the style of bubblegum pop. The compositions of the record are characterized by a more danceable sound, with its release, Minogue's image has become more liberated and sexy. The CD received positive reviews from music critics, who called it the best work of the performer during her collaboration with Stock, Aitken and Waterman.
