A rare Japanese original of a cult album. Who Do We Think We Are is the seventh studio album by the British band Deep Purple, released in 1973. Deep Purple's last album with vocalist Ian Gillan and bassist Roger Glover before the release of Perfect Strangers in 1984. The CD was recorded in July 1972 in Rome[4] and in October of the same year in Frankfurt using the Rolling Stones Mobile Studio.At that time, the band was torn apart by internal conflicts and the recording of the album turned into a nightmare[4]. Ian Gillan later compared this album to The House of Blue Light in 1987: "It's the same: great songs, but a complete lack of mutual understanding among the musicians and ... weak morale."Who Do We Think We Are did not rise above the 4th position in the UK and 15th in the US charts. The seventh studio album by the British-American rock band Foreigner, released on June 14, 1991 on Atlantic Records. Unusual Heat suffered a commercial failure, reaching only number 117 on the Billboard chart due to a sharp drop in sales compared to all previous albums, each of which reached the Top 20 and became at least platinum. None of the two singles released from the album made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and "Lowdown and Dirty" only reached number 4 on the Mainstream Rock chart. ...more

CAL TJADER (July 16, 1925 — May 5, 1982) was an American musician who played Latin jazz. He is often called the most successful Latin American musician of non-Latin American origin.[1] He explored other jazz trends, especially modern jazz in small groups, while continuing to perform music from Africa, the Caribbean, and Latin America. Tjader mainly played the vibraphone, as well as drums, bongos, congas, timbales, and piano. He has worked with many musicians from different cultures. He is often associated with the development of Latin American rock and acid jazz. Although the mixing of jazz with Latin American music is often referred to as "Latin American jazz," Tjader's works freely combine both styles. His Grammy Award in 1980 for the album "La Onda Va Bien" marked the end of a career that had lasted more than 40 years. ...more

Mitch Murray was invited to the project, who wrote several songs for FREDDIE AND THE DREAMERS, and two subsequent singles, "I'm Telling You Now" and "You Were Made For Me", took second and third place in the charts. All this happened in 1963, and their first full-length album was released in the same year. As was often the case in those days, he was named after the band, Freddie And The Dreamers.  And it was a success!
