After leaving Black Sabbath, Ronnie James Dio put together a new band, which included drummer Vinnie Appisi, bassist Jimmy Bain and guitarist Vivian Campbell. Holy Diver's debut album was recorded in the style of Black Sabbath's latest works, which attracted many fans of this band to Ronnie's new band. Holy Diver reached number 13 in the UK charts and number 56 in the US (but here it went gold and subsequently platinum). Critics rate the album highly, and many of the songs from it are considered anthems and classics of heavy rock. Ronnie James Dio himself was recognized by the readers of Kerrang! magazine as the best vocalist, and his band was recognized as the best new band of 1983. In a 2005 interview, the band leader said that there are three flawless albums for him: Rainbow Rising, Heaven and Hell and Holy Diver.

"Technical Ecstasy" is the seventh studio album by the British rock band Black Sabbath, released in 1976. Musically, the CD is a further development of the musical ideas of the guitarist and main composer of the band Tony Iommi. Just like on the last two albums, on Technical Ecstasy, simple and short songs such as "Rock 'N' Roll Doctor" contrast with longer and more complex songs such as "You Won't Change Me" and "Dirty Women". The source material was somewhat spoiled by unimportant production [the source is not specified for 102 days, and therefore could not repeat the commercial success of its predecessor, the album Sabotage (1975).
