PLANT, ROBERT-CALLING TO YOU (MAXI-6 TRACK'S)-1993-FIRST UK PRESS-FONTANA-FATE312. Mega rare original MAXI for the FATE OF NATIONS album. Fate of Nations is the sixth studio album by British singer Robert Plant. It was released on May 25, 1993. "From the very beginning of this project, around January 1991, right after the Manic Nirvana tour, I knew what I was going to do: go back in time, listen to [Moby] Grape, [Jefferson] Airplane, Tim Hardin, Quicksilver, Traffic and other rock musicians. These people were trying to tell the listener something by joining various traditions, with the understanding that the search was planned and intertwined in their acoustic and electronic themes. I'm also proud of the fact that I tried to make the album lyrical, trying to tell vivid stories that come from heartfelt traditional prose."Robert Plant. The Fate Of Nations album appeared by the middle of 1993. This album features not only Plant's regular band, but also many guest musicians such as Maire Brennan, Nigel Kennedy, and Richard Thompson. Guitarist Kevin Scott MacMichael also contributed significantly to the album. Fate Of Nations has absorbed a variety of styles and influences, some of which come from Led Zeppelin. Two songs from the album were released as singles (29 Palms and If I Were A Carpenter), followed by a world tour that ended in South America in early 1994.

TEN YEARS AFTER-WATT-1970-THE FIRST PRESS UK-DERAM-SML1078 Matrix XZAL10255,P-2W/XZAL10256,P-1W, Stamper 1UU/1GG (Very early!) A very rare original in a complete set (poster 65 cm x 65 cm) of the iconic British rock and blues band. Watt's album sounded in many ways like a continuation of "Cricklewood Green": it is based on the same pointed riffs and "angry" vocals, except that the general mood here is a little lighter. Alvin Lee began experimenting with complicated song structures, but achieved the greatest effect in riff stuff ("I'm Coming On"), soul-country "My Baby Left Me" (unrelated to the Elvis Presley song), "I Say Yeah", where the synthesizer sounds quite in the spirit of Keith Emerson ("Aquatarkus") and the ballad "Think About The Times".. After the release of the Watt album, the band's contract expired, and Wright transferred it to Columbia Records. ...more

CHICKEN SHACK-IMAGINATION LADY-1971-THE FIRST PRESS OF UK-DERAM-SDL5 Matrix A-P2W/B-P2W is a very rare original of the iconic British prog blues band. Imagination Lady is the fifth studio album by the British blues rock band Chicken Shack, led by the band's constant leader, guitarist Stan Webb. Released in 1971 on the Deram label. The band "Chicken Shack" is the brainchild of guitarist Stan Webb. In 1964, Webb formed the band "Sounds of blue", which also included Christina Perfect, Andy Sylvester and Chris Wood. In 1965, the team went to Hamburg to work, but not all musicians were able to go there, and Stan had to recruit new recruits. Two years later, Chicken Shack (as the ensemble was now called) returned to their homeland, and Webb begged Perfect to return to the team. The combination of Stan's bright blues guitar and Kristina's emotional vocals allowed the band to gain a significant number of fans. "Chicken Shack" also attracted the attention of the famous London producer Mike Vernon, who signed them to his company "Blue Horizon". In 1967, the band performed at the National Blues/Jazz Festival in Windsor, and also toured England with their label colleagues, Fleetwood Mac. During these tours, Kristina got together with the bassist of "FM" John McVie, whom she later married. Following this, Webb broke up with his partners who had escaped to Savoy Brown, and soon put together a new version of Chicken Shack with Paul Hancox on drums and John Glascock on bass. After getting a contract from the Deram label, in 1972 the trio released the album "Imagination Lady". A notable moment of the record was the song "Poor Boy", which Webb performed as an encore throughout his later career. ...more
