A rare German original of a cult prog band. The Quiet Zone / The Pleasure Dome is the eighth studio album by British rock band Van der Graaf Generator, released on September 2, 1977. The last studio recording before the band reunited in 2005. In 1976, two musicians of the classic Van der Graaf Generator line-up left the band: Hugh Banton and David Jackson (who, however, took part in the recording of two tracks). Def, Dumb and Blonde is the third solo studio album by American singer Deborah Harry. Released in October 1989 on Sire Records in the USA and Chrysalis Records in the UK, the album returned Harry to her professional name "Deborah" rather than "Debbie". Harry worked on the album with various producers, including Tom Bailey of the Thompson Twins and Mike Chapman, who previously produced the last four Blondie albums. "I wanted to do something that would remind me of Blondie," she said.   The song "I Want That Man", written by Tom Bailey and Alanna Curry of the Thompson Twins, was released as the title single. It entered the top 20 of the UK Singles chart and became Harry's most successful solo single in Australia, where it reached number 2. ...more

Spooky Tooth is one of the bright bands that emerged at the turn of the decades and during the transition period from pure psycho, or blues, to new musical forms. The beautiful, "elegant", interesting music of Spooky Tooth is very good. Despite the quite mainstream nature of this band, they failed to achieve any significant commercial success. But the records they released are still listened to with pleasure today. In general, the group turned out to be a kind of star factory. DEEP PURPLE-PERFECT STRANGERS-1984-FIRST PRESS GERMANY-POLYDOR-823777-1. A rare German original of the cult album. Perfect Strangers is the eleventh studio album by British rock band Deep Purple, released on October 29, 1984. It was the most successful album recorded by the reformed "Mark II" line-up.  It was Deep Purple's first studio album in nine years, and the first with the Mk II line-up in eleven years, the last was Who Do We Think We Are in 1973. Richie Blackmore and Roger Glover came from Rainbow, Ian Gillan from Black Sabbath, Jon Lord from Whitesnake and Ian Pace from Gary Moore are backingthe group. The album was a commercial success, reaching number 5 on the UK charts and number 17 on the US Billboard 200. Perfect Strangers became only the second Deep Purple studio album to receive platinum status in the United States after the 1972 album Machine Head. The tour was so successful that the band had to book many additional dates to participate in the American arena tour, as tickets sold out very quickly. FREDDIE AND THE DREAMERS -YOU WERE MAD FOR ME-1964-FIRST PRESS (MONO) UK-COLUMBIA-33SX1663. A rare British original rock beat band. Mitch Murray was invited to the project, who wrote several songs for FREDDIE AND THE DREAMERS, and two subsequent singles, "I'm Telling You Now" and "You Were Made For Me", took second and third place in the charts. All this happened in 1963, and their first full-length album was released in the same year. As was often the case in those days, he was named after the band, Freddie And The Dreamers.  And it was a success! Those who know the history of rock music in the sixties will agree with me: not every talented band could count on such success.
