The CD received positive reviews from music critics, who called it the best work of the performer during her collaboration with Stock, Aitken and Waterman. Compared to Minogue's previous albums, Rhythm of Love turned out to be less successful in terms of sales: the record reached the ninth line of the British charts, thus becoming the singer's first studio release not to reach the first line. In the Australian music ranking, the album secured the tenth position, which allowed it to become Minogue's third work to enter the top ten of this chart. On this day in 1975, the band Smokie releases their second album, called ‘Changing All The Time'. This album is a testament to the changes.
