Fat Mattress is the self—titled debut studio album by the English rock band Fat Mattress, released on August 15, 1969. Fat Mattress was founded in late 1968 by vocalist Neil Landon and guitarist and vocalist Noel Redding, who at that time was playing bass guitar in the popular psychedelic rock band The Jimi Hendrix Experience. Landon and Redding had already written several songs for Landon's cancelled solo project and, having invited bassist Jim Leverton and drummer Eric Dillon, completed the writing and began recording their first material. The self-titled debut album was completed the following year and released in the UK by Polydor Records on August 15, and in the US by Atco Records in October. In support of the album, the band also released their debut single "Magic Forest", which reached number 11 in the Netherlands. Fat Mattress's debut album was a minor commercial success, peaking at number 134 on the US Billboard 200 chart.

Together with session musicians, they gave several concerts in 1994, the recordings of which made up their first album in a new capacity, "No Quarter", which was a significant success, after which they went on a world tour. They then recorded their second album, Walking into Clarksdale, and played another world tour, before disbanding the project at the end of 1998. This is his 11th album since the breakup of The Beatles in 1970, his first album released since the breakup of his band Wings last year, and his first album since the assassination of his former collaborator John Lennon. Rolling Stone music critic Stephen Holden called Tug of War "a masterpiece that everyone always knew Paul McCartney could create," and particularly admired his vibrant music and consistent songwriting. Indelibly Stamped is the second album by the English rock band Supertramp, released in 1971. It marked a drastic change of direction to a more straightforward rock sound, and, according to the band members themselves, "Traveled" is the only song that somehow resembles their debut album. Like their debut album, this album was a commercial failure upon release, but went gold in France and Canada in the following decades. The original editions have a color cover with a flap and other text for the band name and album. The cover depicts a woman with a naked torso and tattoos on her arms. This is Supertramp's first album released in the USA. The album was banned from a number of music stores in Australia, while in other stores each copy was sold in a brown paper envelope. ...more
