ROBERT CALVERT - CAPTAIN LOCKHEED AND THE STARFIGHTERS -1974- FIRST PRESS RELEASE UK-UNITED ARTISTS- UAG29507. A-1U/B-1U matrices. A rare British original of a cult album. The first solo album by Robert Calvert, an eccentric character who was still a full-time Hawkwind poet at that time and had not yet managed to become their full-time frontman. This is a very peculiar story album - the real story of the American Lockheed F-104 Starfighter fighter, which in the 60s was, it turns out, purchased by the West German Air Force in terrible quantities with such modifications that made the aircraft terribly emergency, as a result of which it earned the nickname "Widowmaker". Calvert is drawn here on two counts at once: firstly, he expresses his love and knowledge of military history; secondly, he demonstrates colorful sarcasm and a sense of humor. His targets, of course, are German generals (banter against Germans, as you know, is a traditional genre of British humor). The album actually resembles a radio play, in which song numbers alternate with comic skits brilliantly played by characters such as Vivian Stanshall from Bonzo Dog Band and, of course, Calvert himself.
For music lovers, it is valuable here that Calvert was supported by almost the entire Hawkwind line-up at that time.

Play ’n’ the Game is the eighth studio album by the Scottish band Nazareth, released in 1976.The CD cover states: "This album is entirely dedicated to Bill Fehilly, whose faith and spirit are still with us." The musicians admitted that without his help, Nazareth would never have crossed the borders of England — let alone other countries. ZUCCHERO-LIVE AT THE KREMLIN (2LP'S)-1991-FIRST PRESS OF ITALY-POLYDOR-511519-1.. A rare original of the Italian romantic blues rock. Zucchero — Live At The Kremlin is the first live album by Italian singer Zucchero Fornaciari, released on November 4, 1991 by Polydor label. After the release of his self-titled album "Oro, Incenso e Beer", he travels to Moscow, culminating in a double concert in the Moscow Kremlin, in the Congress Hall. The second concert on December 9, 1990 was broadcast live worldwide on Rai Due. The concert was recorded and mixed by Maurizio Maggi and released in its entirety without any changes or technical corrections. As he wrote in his autobiography titled "The Sound of Sunday is the Novel of My Life," Zucchero gave a concert while experiencing a severe panic attack. Nevertheless, the performance, the first for a Western artist in the Soviet Union after the fall of the Berlin Wall, was a success. Among the guests on stage were Randy Crawford, who sang a duet with Zucchero "Come Il Sole" in English, and John Lennon, to whom the song "Imagine" was dedicated, dedicated to the famous musician on the tenth anniversary of his death. Then Tony Childs appears, with whom Zucchero performs "Many Rivers To Cross", and Yuri Kasparyan, the guitarist of the legendary Soviet rock band Kino, who took part in the concert with his guitar along with Andrea Braido. Finally, it is worth noting the contribution of singer Lisa Hunt, who accompanied the songs with her soulful vocals and especially stood out in the performance of Madre Dolcissima. During the concert, as was customary according to Soviet custom, there was no applause, but at the end the audience applauded standing for 20 minutes. ...more
