This is one of the innovative albums in the style of jazz fusion. The name is a translation of the Latin phrase morituri te salutant, which, according to popular belief (but not academic agreement), gladiators addressed to the emperor before the start of a gladiatorial duel. The original vinyl album had the name "Colosseum" on the record label and on the spine of the cover, but the album is better known as "Those Who are About to Die Greet You". The album reached number 15 on the UK Albums Chart. ...more

DUSTANS-1976-THE FIRST UK PRESS -BTM-.1007 .  A rare British original of a cult album. Blind Dog at St. Dunstans is the seventh studio album by the Canterbury rock band Caravan. It was released in 1976. This album sounds lighter than previous Caravan releases, it has more short, "pop" songs. The lightness of the sound is partly due to the fact that there is a lot of Pie Hastings in the album. He wrote and performed eight of the nine songs. ABBA-VOULEZ-VOUS-1979-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-POLAR - POLS282.A rare Swedish original of the cult album.  Voulez-Vous is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop band ABBA, released in 1979. The release is characterized by a large number of dance-oriented tracks, but it is wrong to define the genre of the album as exclusively "disco"; for example, the song "Does Your Mother Know" has quite definite rock motifs. The work on the album went on for more than a year, and during this time the participants had accumulated more material than what they managed to put on the album. Among the works of that period published much later, it is worth mentioning the composition Dream World, included as a bonus track on the 2010 reissue. In 1981, the album "Voulez-Vous" was released in the USSR by the company "Melody" and became the last numbered album "ABBA", released in the Soviet Union. A rare British original. The concert with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra by the English band Procol Harum was released in 1972; it was recorded at the Northern Alberta Jubilee Hall in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada, on November 18, 1971. The album reached No. 7 in Canada and was very successful on the Billboard Top 200, peaking at number 5. It is the band's best-selling album, certified gold by the RIAA. The live version of the song "Conquistador" from this album became a hit on both pop and progressive radio in the United States and reached the top 20 of the Billboard Hot 100, as well as the top 10 in several other countries. ...more
