It was released by the Motown label on May 28, 1991. Three singles were released from the soundtrack: the first and most popular was "Gotta Have You" (92nd place in the Hot 100, 3rd place in RB), the second was "Fun Day" (6th place in RB, 63rd place in the UK), and the last was "These Three Words" (7th place in RB).
