WILLY TOKAREV - OVER THE HUDSON-1983-ORIGINAL PRESS 2015 -EU-MIRUMIR-MIR100469. A rare anniversary edition of the iconic album. "Over the Hudson" is the third studio album by Soviet, American and Russian author-performer Willy Tokarev, released in 1983 on the Sava Recording Corporation label in the USA. The producer is Willy Tokarev. At the age of 40, in 1974, Willy Tokarev emigrated to the United States with $100 in his pocket. He was sheltered for 2-3 weeks by the Tolstoy Foundation, whose head was Alexandra Tolstaya, daughter of Leo Tolstoy. There he was a courier, a cleaner in a bakery, sorted through the Russian library of a millionaire, a newspaper deliveryman, became unemployed because he did not know English well, so he began to learn the language by reading American newspapers, graduated from a nurse's course, learned to drive a car, passed a taxi driving test and began working as a taxi driver to earn money for recording records, writing songs in his spare time, he was robbed four times (once, on Christmas Day, he was almost killed by a black man). He played at Carnegie Hall on a balalaika, which he bought at a souvenir shop on Fifth Avenue for $ 50, then played and sang in restaurants and nightclubs.  In 1979, the first record "And life is always beautiful!" was released, which was not particularly noticed. In 1981, the second album "In a noisy booth" was released, which brought Tokarev fame among Russian-speaking emigrants. In the 1980s, he worked at the Russian restaurant Sadko, and then at the restaurants Primorsky and Odessa, accompanied by Irina Ola. He was called the "honorary Jew of Brighton." Willy founded his own label, One Man Band, and recorded about twenty albums there.In 1989, Willy Tokarev flew to the USSR with concerts. ZUCCHERO-LIVE AT THE KREMLIN (2LP'S)-1991-FIRST PRESS OF ITALY-POLYDOR-511519-1.. A rare original of the Italian romantic blues rock. Zucchero — Live At The Kremlin is the first live album by Italian singer Zucchero Fornaciari, released on November 4, 1991 by Polydor label.  After the release of his self-titled album "Oro, Incenso e Beer", he travels to Moscow, culminating in a double concert in the Moscow Kremlin, in the Congress Hall. The second concert on December 9, 1990 was broadcast live worldwide on Rai Due. The concert was recorded and mixed by Maurizio Maggi and released in its entirety without any changes or technical corrections. As he wrote in his autobiography titled "The Sound of Sunday is the Novel of My Life," Zucchero gave a concert while experiencing a severe panic attack. Nevertheless, the performance, the first for a Western artist in the Soviet Union after the fall of the Berlin Wall, was a success. Among the guests on stage were Randy Crawford, who sang a duet with Zucchero "Come Il Sole" in English, and John Lennon, to whom the song "Imagine" was dedicated, dedicated to the famous musician on the tenth anniversary of his death. Then Tony Childs appears, with whom Zucchero performs "Many Rivers To Cross", and Yuri Kasparyan, the guitarist of the legendary Soviet rock band Kino, who took part in the concert with his guitar along with Andrea Braido. A very rare British original of a cult album by a blues progressive British band. Lie Back and Enjoy It is the second album by the British-American blues rock band Juicy Lucy, released in 1970. Although several band members have been replaced since the release of their first album, most notably singer Ray Owen and lead guitarist Neil Hubbard, the album is considered a very strong follow-up to the first album.. Most of the songs were written by the band, although the album features added Willie Dixon songs "Built for Comfort" and cover versions of Frank Zappa's "Willie the Pimp". The album peaked at number 53 on the UK Albums Chart in November 1970. ...more
