Worldwide 50 Gold Award Hits Vol. 1 is a compilation album by American singer and musician Elvis Presley. This four-lp compilation was released in August 1970 and became his 38th album. The compilation reached number 45 on the Billboard 200 chart and number 25 on the country chart. The album received gold status on February 13, 1973, platinum status on March 27, 1992, and double platinum status from the American Recording Industry Association on June 17, 1992. Of the 51 tracks featured, four are being played for the first time in this collection: "Viva Las Vegas", "Suspicious Minds", "Don't Cry Daddy" and "Kentucky Rain". The collection also includes an excerpt from a long-unreleased EP with lyrics performed by the author Elvis Sails. All tracks in this set are presented in mono format.
