QUINCY JONES- I HEARD THAT!! (2LP'S)-1976-FIRST PRESS UK-AM-AMLM63705. A rare British original by an iconic musician. Quincy Jones - I Heard That! . The album gives Quincy an unusual format in '76 - on the first record, the listener gets new material, on the second, a collection of the best things during his stay on the A./M. label. The idea is, frankly, questionable - for obvious reasons, the first record can't be compared to the second, the opening straightforward dance I Heard That is no match for the opening perhaps iconic arrangement of Summer In The City from the album 73rd You've Got It Bad Girl. Nevertheless, after many years, the doppelganger listens well as just a selection of the best from Quincy.

Vinyl records in top condition - NMINT/ARCHIVE. The cover is matte in perfect condition - NMINT/ARCHIVE. Labels as new - NMINT/ARCHIVE.

INXS-WELCOME TO WHEREVER YOU ARE-1992-FIRST PRESS EU-HOLLAND-MERCURY-512507-1.  A rare European original of the cult group. Welcome to Wherever You Are is the eighth studio album by Australian rock band INXS, released on August 3, 1992.Taking a course on the grunge and alternative rock that was relevant in the first half of the 90s, INXS tried to find a new direction for themselves, a la U2 (Achtung Baby), the use of a sitar, a 60-string orchestra and a much more "raw" sound. Producer Mark Opitz described the writing process as follows: "There's a lot of Michael, Andrew and me on the album. The opinion of everyone and everyone is not present here, because some of them were busy with significant changes in their personal lives." The mixing was handled by Bob Klimauntin. While working on the album, INXS performed at the Concert for Life in March 1992, performing some of the songs to the accompaniment of the orchestra[8] and presenting two new songs - "Taste It" and "All Around".The CD took 1st place in the UK chart, 16th place in the US Billboard 200 chart and was among the top ten albums of the year according to Q and The Independent magazines. However, due to insufficient promotion of the album by the record company and the lack of a tour in support of the album (after successful tours in support of Kick and X, the band took a vacation with the intention of returning with a tour in support of two albums), the album sold worse than its predecessors - gold in Britain in 1992, platinum in the USA in 1997. The band performed at the 1993 Australian Record Industry Awards (nominated for "Best Band"), performing "Heaven Sent" to the soundtrack of instruments, but with live vocals. ...more
