MOORE GARY-AFTER THE WAR-1989-The first EU-VIRGIN press is V2575. A rare original legend in rock music. After the War is the seventh Studio album by Irish guitarist and singer Gary Moore, released in 1989.
Like its predecessor Wild Frontier, After The War contains elements of Celtic music. The instrumental track "Dunluce" is named after Dunluce castle in Northern Ireland. On "Led Clones", the vocals are performed by Ozzy Osbourne, who Moore worked with before the singer started working with Randy Rhodes. This song makes fun of bands like Kingdom Come, which were popular at the time and were based on the sound and image of Led Zeppelin. "It was a very fun song," Ozzy recalled, " and it was an honor to record it with Gary." The Sisters of Mercy frontman Andrew Eldritch performs backing vocals on "After The War", "Speak for Yourself" and "Blood of Emeralds". Moore once again pays tribute to his long-time friend and colleague, Phil Lynott on the track "Blood of Emeralds". "After The War" will be Moore's last work as a stylist for mainstream hard rock, as well as his last rock album until 1997's"Dark Days in Paradise". Starting with his next album, Still Got The Blues, he will primarily switch to playing the Blues. Although cozy Powell played drums on the album, he was replaced by Chris Slade for the tour, as he was about to tour with Black Sabbath, in support of their album Headless Cross, where he also played drums.

URIAH HEEP -WAKE THE SLEEPER-2008-FIRST PRESS UK/EU -SANCTUARY-1767594. Mega rare original of the cult group. Wake The Sleeper is the 21st Studio album by rock band Uriah Heep, released on June 2, 2008 in Europe and August 26, 2008 in the United States. The announced release in September 2007 was postponed (initially to March 2008) as a result of the purchase of Sanctuary Records by Universal Music. This was to ensure that the album was properly promoted, not that it was "lost" during the shift, and although this was unpleasant for them, the band members supported it. This is their first Studio album since 1998's Sonic Origami. It is also their first album since 1980's Conquest without long-time drummer Lee Kerslake, who was forced to leave the band due to ill health in 2007, ending the band's longest-running line-up of 21 years. Wake The Sleeper was nominated by the British Classic Rock magazine as Album of the year. ...more

BADFINGER-BADFINGER-1973-FIRST PRESS (PROMO) GERMANY-WARNER-WB56023. Mega rare promo original of the cult album. Badfinger is the sixth Studio album by British rock band Badfinger. The album was recorded in the fall of 1973 and released in 1974 on the Warner Bros. label .Records. It was the first of two albums released by the band on the Warner label. When Badfinger were finishing work on their last album for Apple Records, Ass, the band's Manager, Stan Polley, signed them to a three-year, six-album deal with Warner Bros.Records. As a result, shortly after the band and producer Chris Thomas completed recording Ass , they returned to the Studio to make a new album for Warner. Originally scheduled for release on December 28, 1973, the album was delayed due to Ass being released the same month. After the release of Badfinger has received an unfavorable review in Rolling Stone magazine. The UK single released after the album "Love is Easy" failed to chart. The follow-up single released in the US, "I Miss You", also failed. In the United States, the album peaked at number 161 on the BillboardTop 200 LPs & Tape list, making it Badfinger's lowest-charting album there. Part of the reason for the poor commercial performance was that due to legal proceedings with Apple, this album and Ass came out within a few months of each other; in fact, in the UK, Badfinger actually preceded Ass. ...more
