SOUNDS OF MU-ROUGH SUNSET-1995-FIRST PRESS RUSSIA-MAMONOV-OM04. A very rare original of the cult album. Rough sunset is the fifth Studio album under the banner "Sounds of Mu" and the first recorded in the new line-up. The second line-up of the band grew out of the project of Peter Mamonov with his half-brother Alexey Bortnichuk, which was to be the next step in his musical development. Subsequently, the Duo became a Quartet, and the newly formed group needed a name. Mamonov considered it necessary to change the name from the original, "Mamonov and Alexey", to the already used"sounds of Mu". The application of the old name of the group to the new line-up caused discontent among the members of the former "collective", which led to accusations against Mamonov and the formation of the collective "echoes of Mu". In addition to Mamonov and Bortnichuk, the new line-up included bassist Yevgeny Kazantsev and drummer Andrey Nadolsky. Mamonov himself sought to create a wall of sound on the album, changing the sound in favor of guitar parts. This allowed him to record his old songs, which could not be recorded with the canonical composition of "Sounds".

The vinyl record is in new condition - NMINT/ARCHIVE. Laminated cover in top condition - NMINT/ARCHIVE. Labels as new – NMINT/ARCHIVE

The album contains eight songs that were not included in other albums. "Black Dog" is our first thematic, conceptual program. When we did it, we knew that as musicians we had to rise to a new, different level. We set ourselves tasks that we had never solved before. Everything was new and strange. And it turned out. With all the disadvantages, but it turned out!»... "It was the first time such big topics were touched upon there. Topics that are generally sick of art: "To be or not to be?", The bronze horseman, Boris Godunov.… There were appeals to Mandelstam, Brodsky, Shostakovich, some kind of Symphony, even a small one. Work on figurative music has already begun. This was a milestone for us." — Yu.
