It was recorded primarily at Caribou Ranch Studios in Colorado with overdubs, vocals, and mixing completed at the Los Angeles Recording plant. It was the first Supertramp album to feature engineer Peter Henderson, who would work with the band on the next three albums as well. The album ... reached number 16 on the Billboard Pop Albums chart in 1977 and a few months later became the first gold (500,000 copies or more) Supertramp album sold in the United States. Alexander Vitalyevich Sitkovetsky (born April 5, 1955, Moscow) is a Soviet rock musician, guitarist, vocalist, and composer. Founder and leader of the groups "Leap Summer" and "Autograph". Recognized as one of the best Russian guitarists. In 1990, "Autograph" disbanded. Sitkovetsky moves to America. He begins to work on a solo career and releases his first (and first in the USSR) guitar instrumental album Zello, which became the "album of the year" (1992) in Russia, and earlier the video for the play "Camels" from this album, shot by Mikhail Khleborodov with Fyodor Bondarchuk in the title role, won the main prize of the annual video competition in Moscow in April 1991. A rare early edition of the cult album. Alan Price said that Lindsay Anderson wanted to make a documentary about Price and his band touring England, but the cost of licensing the songs they performed was too high. While Sherwin and McDowell were developing the script, Anderson decided that Price should write the score, and sent him the script, indicating where he would like to see the songs. Price wrote almost all of the songs before filming began. The soundtrack was released as a vinyl album by Warner Bros. Records, in 1973. In the United States, it entered the top LPs and Tape Chart on August 11, 1973, and spent 14 weeks on the chart, peaking at # 117. The score won the 1974 BAFTA Award for Best Film Score.  ...more

ABBA-VOULEZ-VOUS-1979-THE FIRST PRESS OF SWEDEN-POLAR - POLS282.A rare Swedish original of the cult album.  Voulez-Vous is the sixth studio album by Swedish pop band ABBA, released in 1979. The release is characterized by a large number of dance-oriented tracks, but it is wrong to define the genre of the album as exclusively "disco"; for example, the song "Does Your Mother Know" has quite definite rock motifs. The work on the album went on for more than a year, and during this time the participants had accumulated more material than what they managed to put on the album. Among the works of that period published much later, it is worth mentioning the composition Dream World, included as a bonus track on the 2010 reissue. In 1981, the album "Voulez-Vous" was released in the USSR by the company "Melody" and became the last numbered album "ABBA", released in the Soviet Union.
