Mega rare British original of the cult album. Songs of Faith and Devotion is the eighth studio album by the British electronic band Depeche Mode. The album was released on March 22, 1993 on the Mute Records label, and a day later in the United States on the Sire and Reprise Records labels. The album contains a darker and darker sound than its predecessor Violator, largely influenced by the alternative and grunge scene in the US. Songs of Faith and Devotion reached high positions in most country charts and also became the first Depeche Mode album to debut on the chart in both the UK and the US. In support of the album, Depeche Mode embarked on a tour called the Devotional Tour, which lasted 14 months, which is the longest, in terms of duration, tour for the band at that time.  ...more

The debut solo studio album by English progressive rock singer Peter Gabriel and the first of four albums with the same name. Released on February 25, 1977, it was produced by Bob Ezrin. Gabriel and Ezrin gathered musicians, including guitarist Robert Fripp and his future King Crimson bandmate Tony Levin on bass. After the release of the album, Gabriel began touring with a group of seven people under his own name. The album reached # 7 in the UK and # 38 in the US. This album is often referred to as either Peter Gabriel I or Car, referring to the album cover by London-based artist Peter Christopherson. The album of the group's famous singles "needles and pins" and "don't leave my love", as well as cover versions of some famous tracks, originally recorded by Betty Everett ("It's in her kiss"), Carl Perkins ("Glad it's over"), Don Gibson ("sea of grief"), the sinkers ("I count the tears") or Tommy Tucker ("Hi-Heels sneakers").
