Sign "☮" The Times (pronounced Sign of the Times) is the 9th album by American singer and musician Prince. Released on March 31, 1987. The Rolling Stone Album Guide (2004) called the album "Prince's best album, the most holistic example of the breadth of his artistry, and perhaps the best album of the 1980s." The reviewer of Afisha Daily in a retrospective review gave the album a similar assessment. In 2017, the album Sign "☮" the Times was inducted into the Grammy Award Hall of Fame. The album reached number six on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) four months after its release. It also entered the top 10 in Austria, France, New Zealand, Norway, Sweden and the UK and took first place in Switzerland. "Sign o' the Times", "U Got the Look" and "I Can never Take Your Man's Place" all made the top 10 hits of the Billboard Hot 100. After Prince's death in 2016, the album re-entered the Billboard 200 at number 20.

Relayer is the seventh studio album by the English progressive rock band Yes, released in November 1974 by Atlantic Records. After keyboardist Rick Wakeman left the band in May 1974 due to disagreements with the band's management after their double concept album Tales from Topographical Oceans (1973), Yes began rehearsals as a four-piece in Buckinghamshire. The album reached No. 4 on the UK Albums chart and No. 5 on the US Billboard 200. A single from the final part of "The Gates of Delirium" titled "Soon" was released in January 1975. Concerto for Group and Orchestra (translated from English — "Concert for Group and Orchestra") is a live album by the British rock band Deep Purple, recorded together with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra. One of the first attempts to harmoniously combine classical music and rock music in one piece. It was released in the USA in December 1969, and in the UK in January 1970. By the time the second line-up of Deep Purple was formed, there was a confrontation in the band between the art-rock ambitions of John Lord and the hard-rock ambitions of Richie Blackmore. Lord considered the possibility of creating a work that would combine the features of classical and rock music. Deep Purple manager Tony Edwards decides to go all-in and reserves the Albert Hall for September 24, leaving John Lord about six months to write the score.
