Emotional Rescue is the 15th British and 17th American Studio album by The Rolling Stones, released in 1980. After the success of the previous album Some Girls, which became their biggest hit to date, The Rolling Stones returned to the Studio in early 1979, to begin writing and to write its sequel. Members Mick Jagger (vocals), Keith Richards (guitar), Ronnie wood (guitar), bill Wyman (bass guitar) and Charlie watts (drums) joined by frequent collaborators Ian Stewart (guitar), Nicky Hopkins (keyboards), Bobby keys (saxophone) and sugar blue (harmonica).After the release, he topped the charts in at least six countries, including the US, UK and Canada. The hit singles from the album include the title track, which reached No. 1 in Canada, # 3 in USA and # 9 in the UK, as well as "She's So Cold", which entered the top 40 singles in several countries. One of the first rock operas in the USSR, created on the initiative of director Mark Zakharov based on the dramatic cantata by the Chilean poet Pablo Neruda "The Shining and Death of Joaquin Murieta, a Chilean robber killed in California on July 23, 1853." The play was performed on the stage of the Lenkom Theater for 17 seasons and was shown 1050 times.  In 1978, the first record "The Star and the Death of Joaquin Murieta" was released — the main parts were performed by: The Star, Teresa - Jeanne Rozhdestvenskaya; Joaquin Murieta, Death - Gennady Trofimov.
