QUEEN-A DAY AT THE RACES-1975-FIRST PRESS UK-EMI number EMTC104 Matrix A-4U/B-4U.A rare British original. A Day at the Races is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Queen, released on December 10, 1976 in the UK and December 18, 1976 in the USA.The title of the album — "A Day at the Races" — as well as the previous one, is taken from the repertoire of American comedians of the 1930s by the Marx brothers. A Day at the Races immediately came under fire from critics. Queen was accused of an unsuccessful attempt to repeat A Night At The Opera. The album turned out to be really very similar to the previous one, but this was never hidden by the musicians. May said that both records were being prepared at the same time, but one was recorded earlier and the other later.

FLOCK-FLOCK-1969-THE FIRST PRESS UK-CBS-S63733. Matrix A-1/B-1. A very rare British original of the cult prog-blues-jazz-psycho band. THE FLOCK is the first album by a very interesting American band that worked at the junction of jazz, blues and rock. In almost any criticism you will read that FLOCK is very similar to CHICAGO, was influenced by CHICAGO, or something similar. You can safely throw this criticism in the trash... The Flock failed to achieve the commercial success of other jazz-rock bands of the era, such as Chicago and Blood Sweat and Tears, but they became quite famous due to the inclusion of the violin in the group. They cannot be attributed to the jazz mainstream and gloss, which American philistines liked so much, because the powerful brass section was often reinforced by a hard sound and hard rock riffs. ...more

MOORE GARY-AFTER HOUR-1992-FIRST PRESS UK/EU-VIRGIN-212558. A rare original legend in rock music. After Hours is a studio album by Irish guitarist and singer Gary Moore, released on March 10, 1992. After a busy tour in 1990, Moore recorded the album "After Hours", which, like its predecessor, was sustained in the style of blues-rock, but with a great soul influence and with the addition of a brass section that played in the style of soul. Despite the fact that the album turned out to be very similar to "Still Got The Blues", its success was more modest. After Hours includes both Moore's original songs and well-known blues standards. The Memphis band The Memphis Horns took part in the recording, as well as guest musicians: BB King ("Since I Met You Baby") and Albert Collins ("The Blues Is Alright"). The album reached the 1st place in the charts of Switzerland and Sweden, as well as the 2nd place in Germany and Norway. In general, he received favorable reviews. Allmusic reviewer David Genzen called After Hours "as impressive" as Still Got the Blues. ...more
