SMALL FACES-OGDENS' NUT GONE FLAKE-1968-FIRST PRESS (STEREO) UK-IMMEDIATE-IMSP012. A very rare British original of the cult album. Ogdens' Nut Gone Flake is the third studio album and the only concept album by English rock band Small Faces. Released on May 24, 1968, the album reached number one on the UK album charts on June 29, where it remained for a total of six weeks.  Ultimately, it became the band's last studio album during their initial incarnation (and the last album to contain exclusively new material until the release of the Playmates reunion album in 1977). The album's title and distinctive packaging design were a parody of Ogden's Nut-Brown Flakes, a brand of canned crumbly tobacco that was produced in Liverpool. since 1899 by Thomas Ogden. Feeling close within the Barclay James Harvest group, Woolley seriously engaged in a solo career. The remaining trio of musicians decided to continue the existence of their collective, making up for the loss mainly due to session musicians. The band's sound has noticeably improved and become more pop, but it has remained "afloat". And that was the main thing. Whatever Happened to Benny Santini? is the debut album by Chris Rea, released in 1978. The album's first single, "Fool (If You Think It's Over)", is justifiably considered Chris' most famous song and remains his best hit in the US, reaching number 12 on the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and number 1 on the Adult Contemporary Singles charts. This success was also facilitated by the extensive broadcasting on Radio Caroline, as it was dedicated to the British Home Office, which tried to stop broadcasting the radio station. The band originally consisted of married couple Denis and Denise Lepage, who had a number one dance hit in the US in 1981 with the song "Your Love". Lime released their debut album Your Love in 1981. The title track became a gold record and a No. 1 hit on the Billboard disco chart in the United States. In 1982, Lime Lime II's second album was released with the support of the single "Babe We're Gonna Love Tonight", which reached No. 6 on the Billboard dance chart. ...more

Released on January 16, 1968, the album features a thunderous bluesy sound that would later become known as heavy metal. Due to commercial success and critical acclaim, Vincebus Eruptum reached number 11 on the Billboard 200 album chart and secured the 14th line of the cover version of Eddie Cochran's song "Summertime Blues".
