The seventh studio album by the British-American rock band Foreigner, released on June 14, 1991 on Atlantic Records. Unusual Heat suffered a commercial failure, reaching only number 117 on the Billboard chart due to a sharp drop in sales compared to all previous albums, each of which reached the Top 20 and became at least platinum. None of the two singles released from the album made it onto the Billboard Hot 100 charts, and "Lowdown and Dirty" only reached number 4 on the Mainstream Rock chart.

Perfect Strangers is the eleventh studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple and the first recorded by the reunited "classic line—up" of the band, released in November 1984. At the beginning of October, Perfect Strangers was mixed, and on November 16 it went on sale, rising to 5th place in Britain and 17th in the USA. Blackmore, known for his clumsiness, joked that the album should finally be called the 1974 album, hinting that the last album recorded in this line-up was released back in 1973 (Who Do We Think We Are). Such zeal did not remain without consequences: the album turned out to be very successful, quickly became platinum, took 5th place in the UK charts and 17th place in the USA. The album did not chart in the UK, but reached #197 on the Billboard Hot 200 in the US.At the time of recording the album, all the members of the band Free were very young: none of them had turned twenty yet, and bass guitarist Andy Fraser was sixteen years old at all. They achieved some success through constant touring, and their debut album was composed mainly of compositions performed at concerts.
