SINATRA, FRANK -SINATRA'S SWINGING SESSION-1961-FIRST PRESS (STEREO) UK-CAPITOL-SW-1491. A rare American original of the iconic album. Sinatra Swings (originally titled "Swing with Me") is an album by Frank Sinatra with Billy May and his orchestra, released in 1961. The two album titles stem from the fact that Capitol believed that this album, originally titled "Rock with Me", was so close in sound and title to Sinatra's earlier Capitol album "Let's Rock with Me!" that the label sought and was satisfied with a court order requiring Reprise to change the name of this, only his second Reprise album, to Sinatra Swings. Re-printing was not required to recall the already shipped records, but new labels and covers had to be printed, and the album cover announced that it contained "twelve of the most uninhibited things Sinatra has ever recorded." The tracks were arranged and conducted by Billy May and his orchestra. Sinatra had a minor hit with the single "Granada" included on this album. ...more

After a busy tour in 1990, Moore recorded the album "After Hours", which, like its predecessor, was sustained in the style of blues-rock, but with a great soul influence and with the addition of a brass section that played in the style of soul. Despite the fact that the album turned out to be very similar to "Still Got The Blues", its success was more modest. After Hours includes both Moore's original songs and well-known blues standards. The Memphis band The Memphis Horns took part in the recording, as well as guest musicians: BB King ("Since I Met You Baby") and Albert Collins ("The Blues Is Alright"). The album reached the 1st place in the charts of Switzerland and Sweden, as well as the 2nd place in Germany and Norway. In general, he received favorable reviews. Allmusic reviewer David Genzen called After Hours "as impressive" as Still Got the Blues. ...more
