It was released in 1975 by Numero Uno, a division of RCA Records in Italy. It was also released with a different cover on Manticore Records in the UK and Asylum Records in the USA.It was the first album to feature Bernardo Lanzetti (former Acqua Fragile vocalist) as lead vocals. It was also their first album whose lyrics were originally written in English, as the band felt they were better suited to the music they were creating at the time.[3] The lyrics for "From Under" and "Chocolate Kings" were written by Marva Jan Murrow, an American friend of the band who lived in Italy at the time. ...more

In the USA, the headline was written on ribbons that were taped over children's buttocks. Despite this precaution, the record was banned in many states of the "Bible Belt". "They wouldn't let us do anything like that today, they would immediately accuse us of pedophilia propaganda," says Powell, "but we were hippies, walking around naked was completely commonplace for us." In 2011, the album cover was ranked 28th in the list of the best album covers of all time by the online edition of Music Radar.
