The Wall: Live in Berlin is a concert performance of the legendary rock opera The Wall by Pink Floyd, organized by its main author Roger Waters and held on July 21, 1990 at Berlin's Potsdamer Platz, which has long been divided by the Berlin Wall. The concert was filmed as a TV movie, and also released in September 1990 as a live album. The concert took place in the presence of a 200,000-strong audience on July 21, 1990 at Potsdamer Platz, which was previously a no-man's land separating East and West Berlin. During the concert, a "wall" with a width of more than 160 m and a height of about 25 m was erected on the stage, which was finally destroyed to the ground. A rare British original of the cult album by the famous Italian prog band. Chocolate Kings is the sixth album by the Italian progressive rock band Premiata Forneria Marconi (also known as PFM). It was released in 1975 by Numero Uno, a division of RCA Records in Italy. It was also released with a different cover on Manticore Records in the UK and Asylum Records in the USA.It was the first album to feature Bernardo Lanzetti (former Acqua Fragile vocalist) as lead vocals. It was also their first album whose lyrics were originally written in English, as the band felt they were better suited to the music they were creating at the time.[3] The lyrics for "From Under" and "Chocolate Kings" were written by Marva Jan Murrow, an American friend of the band who lived in Italy at the time. ...more
