A very rare original of the cult album.  On the Threshold of a Dream is the fourth studio album by the British band The Moody Blues, released in April 1969 on Deram Records. This is The Moody Blues' third album recorded with the classic Hayward—Pinder—Lodge—Thomas Edge line—up, and the band's third collaboration with producer Tony Clark. On the Threshold of a Dream was the band's first album, which was recorded in a relatively calm environment, without taking time to work in the studio between concerts. This is partly due to the success of the two previous albums Days of Future Passed and In Search of the Lost Chord, which provided the band with significant attention from the record company Decca Records. In addition, the band members now had a much better idea of what they could achieve in the studio and began writing songs with these possibilities in mind. Equally important, they have just completed an extensive tour of the USA (opening for Cream) and learned a lot during the concerts over the previous year, achieving a much bolder and denser sound both instrumentally and vocally. As a result, On the Threshold of a Dream became one of the most successful albums of the band's entire existence, reached the #1 position in the UK and entered the "Top 20" in the USA. SEARCHERS-TAKE ME FOR WHAT I'M WORTH-1965-THE FIRST UK PRESS-PYE-NSPL18120. A rare British original album by the iconic beat group. It's the Searchers is the fifth studio album by the English rock band The Searchers and the first album by the band that did not enter the official Top 20 albums chart in the United Kingdom. Released in late 1965, it was the last album by the Searchers before the departure of band leader Chris Curtis. The album includes several songs written by the band members, as well as cover versions of some famous tracks originally recorded by The Ronettes ("Be My Baby"), Fats Domino ("I'm Ready"), Marvin Gaye ("I'll Be Doggone") or Ian and Sylvia ("Four Strong Winds"). A very rare British original of the cult album. Pendulum is the sixth studio album by American band Creedence Clearwater Revival, recorded at Wally Hyder's studio in San Francisco and released on the Fantasy label in December 1970. Pendulum is the last CCR album to feature rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty, who left the band shortly after the album's release. The record demonstrates the group's desire to expand its own stylistic framework, a number of his compositions are musically noticeably more complex than the CCR recordings of the 1968-1969 sample. The most ambitious of the band's seven albums, Pendulum was recorded for about a month — twice as long as the rest of the records. ...more

The Soul Cages is the third studio album by British rock musician Sting, released on January 22, 1991. It became the singer's second album to reach the top of the national chart in his homeland. Business as Usual is the debut studio album by Australian new wave band People at Work, which was released in November 1981 in Australia and April 1982 in the United States. It spent nine weeks at the top of the Australian Kent Music Report Albums chart from December 1981 to March 1982. The Australian version had a black and white cover; the foreign releases had a similar design, but in a black and yellow color scheme. Business as Usual was one of the Australian band's most successful albums internationally. It spent an unprecedented 15 weeks at number one on the US Billboard 200 from late 1982 to early 1983; and five weeks at number one on the United Kingdom Albums chart in early 1983. Business as Usual was also one of the best-selling Australian albums in the early 1980s, selling 6 million copies in the US. ...more
