Since 1960, Shelly Mann has mainly concentrated on working at the jazz club, where he was a co-owner and in which he played both with his own band Shelly Manne and His Men, and with almost all the jazz stars of that time. His club featured, for example, Ben Webster, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Michel Legrand, Milt Jackson, Monty Alexander, Miles Davis.  So this album was born, recorded with superstars in the line-up with Johnny Hodges. It is considered the breakthrough album in the band's career, it was on it that the single "What You Need" was released, which hit the Top 5 of the US charts (the best result for INXS at that time). This album also marked the beginning of the band's successful collaboration with producer Chris Thomas, who had a hand in recording the band's next most successful albums, Kick (1987) and X (1990). In the USA, the album received double platinum status. A rare British original. A Night at the Opera is the fourth studio album by the rock band Queen, released on December 2, 1975. The record was a great success: its sales reached three million, and it held the top position in the UK charts for four inconsistent weeks. The title of the album — "Night at the Opera" — as well as the subsequent one, is taken from the repertoire of American comedians of the 1930s by the Marx brothers, namely from the film of the same name. At each Queen concert, several songs from A Night at the Opera were necessarily performed (while "Love of My Life" was never performed in the album version). It is generally believed that the song "Death on Two Legs" is dedicated to the former producer of the band. "Bohemian Rhapsody" brought the band a resounding success and in 2000 was recognized in Britain as the "song of the millennium". The final album, "God Save the Queen", is the British national anthem arranged by Brian May; it was this composition that invariably completed each concert of the band. The second album of the hard prog British band consisting of great musicians JOHN CANN, JOHN GUSTAFSON, PAUL HAMMOND.  It is the second and final album by the 1970s British rock band HARD STUFF. During the recording of the album, two band members (John Cann and Paul Hammond) were injured in a serious car accident in Belgium. Cann was sitting in the front passenger seat of their car. Ford Zodiac and suffered a back injury and broken ribs, while Hammond, who was sleeping in the back seat, broke both legs. Kahn spent a week in the hospital in Ostend, and Hammond spent two months.[1] The band managed to finish recording the album, but Cann later stated: "When I listen to it, it sounds a little sketchy and not the way we intended, but still it has its good moments." Hard Stuff disbanded shortly after the release of the album, and the members went their separate ways. After refusing to join ATOMIC ROOSTER, Cann briefly joined THIN LIZZY recording a solo album, Gustafson joined ROXY MUSIC and later the IAN GILLAN BAND,  ...more
