A very rare original of the cult album.  On the Threshold of a Dream is the fourth studio album by the British band The Moody Blues, released in April 1969 on Deram Records. This is The Moody Blues' third album recorded with the classic Hayward—Pinder—Lodge—Thomas Edge line—up, and the band's third collaboration with producer Tony Clark. On the Threshold of a Dream was the band's first album, which was recorded in a relatively calm environment, without taking time to work in the studio between concerts. This is partly due to the success of the two previous albums Days of Future Passed and In Search of the Lost Chord, which provided the band with significant attention from the record company Decca Records. In addition, the band members now had a much better idea of what they could achieve in the studio and began writing songs with these possibilities in mind. Equally important, they have just completed an extensive tour of the USA (opening for Cream) and learned a lot during the concerts over the previous year, achieving a much bolder and denser sound both instrumentally and vocally. As a result, On the Threshold of a Dream became one of the most successful albums of the band's entire existence, reached the #1 position in the UK and entered the "Top 20" in the USA. A very rare British original with the first matrices .Houses of the Holy is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Led Zeppelin, released on March 28, 1973 on Atlantic Records. Page described the idea of the cover as "a symbol of innocence, an expression of the idea that we are all beings who aspire to the promised heaven." Six-year-old Samantha Gates and her four-year-old brother Stefan posed. The cover photo is a collage of more than thirty pictures. The album cover did not contain any information about the artists or the title. In the USA, the headline was written on ribbons that were taped over children's buttocks. Despite this precaution, the record was banned in many states of the "Bible Belt". "They wouldn't let us do anything like that today, they would immediately accuse us of pedophilia propaganda," says Powell, "but we were hippies, walking around naked was completely commonplace for us." In 2011, the album cover was ranked 28th in the list of the best album covers of all time by the online edition of Music Radar. A rare American original of the iconic album.  A 1973 live album by Dave Brubeck and his quintet, recorded in various places in Europe. The album reached number 20 on the Billboard Top Jazz Charts. "Truth", "Unfinished Woman" and "Take Five" were recorded at the Berlin Philharmonic, "Koto Song" was recorded at the Olympia in Paris, and "Rotterdam Blues" and "Sweet Georgia Brown" were recorded at the De Doelen Concert Hall in Rotterdam. The album was reviewed by Scott Yanow of Allmusic, who wrote that "For this very logical record, the altruist Paul Desmond . . .. turns the band into a quintet, and his interaction with Mulligan is consistently delightful. ...In addition, Desmond is featured in the "Koto Song", and for an encore Brubeck performs the lighthearted, albeit brief "Sweet Georgia Brown".". ...more
