On Metacritic, the album was given a score of 84/100 based on 15 reviews, indicating "universal acclaim". The album was selected by Rolling Stone magazine as the 37th best album of 2017. The album was voted the best-selling UK Americana album of 2018 at the UK Americana Awards.

His club featured, for example, Ben Webster, Bill Evans, John Coltrane, Thelonious Monk, Michel Legrand, Milt Jackson, Monty Alexander, Miles Davis. It was released on February 4, 1991. The last album "Queen", recorded and released during the lifetime of Freddie Mercury.
