This is a compilation album by the American band Sly and the Family Stone. It was first released on November 21, 1970 by Epic Records. The album includes all the singles from the albums Dance to the Music (1968), Life (1968) and Stand! (1969). Three tracks released as singles in 1969 first appear on the album here: "Hot Fun in the Summertime", "Everybody Is a Star" and "Thank You (Falettinme Be Mice Elf Agin)". The recordings in this compilation do not always match the versions of the singles; some songs are presented here in their album version and mixes. Mixes sometimes have different editing and vocal and/or instrumentation changes. Greatest Hits was certified five times platinum by the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA), selling five million copies in the United States. A rare British early edition . Fleetwood Mac is the tenth studio album by the British-American rock band Fleetwood Mac, released on July 11, 1975 by Reprise Records. It was the band's second album of the same name, the first was the 1968 debut album. It was Fleetwood Mac's first album with Lindsey Buckingham as guitarist and Stevie Nicks as vocalist, after Bob Welch (guitarist, singer and songwriter) left the band at the end of 1974. On September 4, 1976, the album topped the U.S. Billboard 200 chart, 58 weeks after its release. In support of the record, three singles were released — "Over My Head", "Rhiannon" and "Say You Love Me" — each of which hit the top twenty of the charts, with the last two stopping a step away from the Top 10 - both at 11th place. The record received seven times platinum certification in the United States, with a total circulation of more than seven million copies. High Time is the second studio album by American rock band MC5, released in 1971 by Atlantic Records. Unfortunately, the 1971 album High Time was the last for MC5. Heavy drugs entered the lives of the band members, and within a year they broke up, moving to other groups. At least two of the participants ended up in federal prison on drug trafficking charges, and they were never reunited until Rob Tyner's untimely death in mid-summer 1992.Although the band's debut album Kick Out the Jams peaked at number 30 on the Billboard 200 chart, their second album stalled at number 137, and High Time proved to be even less commercially successful.  ...more
