CERRONE-GOLDEN TOUCH-1978-THE FIRST USA-COTILLION-SD5208 press. A rare American original of a cult album. Cerrone IV - The Golden Touch is the fourth studio album by French disco musician and producer Jean-Marc Cerrone, released in 1978 on Malligator (773,807) in France, on Atlantic branch Cotillion (SD 5208) in the USA, on CBS - in European countries. Having gained the huge popularity of his previous album, Supernatural - Cerrone III (1977), Cerrone decided to consolidate his success by signing important contracts. First of all, he signed an agreement with the Machat brothers: producer Steven Machat and show business lawyer Martin Machat. They became Cerron's managers in order to promote it internationally. Steven Machat signed Cerron to Atlantic Records in the USA and Canada, and to CBS everywhere except the USA, Canada and France. In France, he was given the right to publish on his own Malligator label. While waiting for the fourth album, Cerrone's fans were wondering where it would turn. Will this project be as conceptual and ambitious as the previous Supernatural, or will Cerrone return to the lingering, pleasant to forget and party style of the first albums Love in C Minor (1976) and Cerrone's Paradise (1977)? Making something amazing again after Supernature was, of course, not an easy task. Cerrone didn't repeat himself, but he made the fourth album no worse than the third. Cerrone IV: The Golden Touch was met with rave reviews in the United States, and Atlantic threw a huge party in New York in October 1978, one of the largest parties ever held for artists at that time. The album's envelope was decorated with appropriate pomp, where Cerron is represented in a laurel crown, and the Roman numeral in the title emphasizes his "crowned" status in disco culture. MOORE GARY-WILD FRONTIER-1987-FIRST PRESS UK-10 RECORDS- DIX56. A rare British original by a great guitarist. Wild Frontier is the sixth solo studio album by Northern Irish guitarist Gary Moore, released on March 2, 1987. This is his first studio work after returning to his native Belfast, Northern Ireland in 1985. The album contains several songs about Ireland. The album is dedicated to the memory of Moore's close friend and former Thin Lizzy member Phil Lynott, who died on January 4, 1986. It says "Philippe" on the back cover. Wild Frontier contains the hit single "Over the Hills and Far Away", which reached number 20 in the UK, as well as a cover version of the Easybeats song "Friday on My Mind". Max Middleton's song "The Loner" was originally recorded by Cozy Powell for his album Over the Top in 1979 (on which Moore performed, although not on Powell's recording of "The Loner"). Moore significantly changed the track for his recording, so he is listed as a co-author. The song "Crying in the Shadows", which was released as the B-side of the single "Over the Hills and Far Away" in December 1986 and featured as a bonus track on the Wild Frontier CD, was also recorded by Japanese singer Minako Honda under the name "The Cross (Ai No Jujika)"with Moore as the guitarist. ...more

SUPERTRAMP-INDELIBLY STAMPED-1971-THE FIRST UK-AM-AMLH 64306 PRESS. A-1/B-1 matrices. A very rare British original of the cult album. Indelibly Stamped is the second album by the English rock band Supertramp, released in 1971. It marked a drastic change of direction to a more straightforward rock sound, and, according to the band members themselves, "Traveled" is the only song that somehow resembles their debut album. Like their debut album, this album was a commercial failure upon release, but went gold in France and Canada in the following decades. The original editions have a color cover with a flap and other text for the band name and album. The cover depicts a woman with a naked torso and tattoos on her arms. This is Supertramp's first album released in the USA. The album was banned from a number of music stores in Australia, while in other stores each copy was sold in a brown paper envelope. ...more

Led Zeppelin is the debut studio album by the British rock band Led Zeppelin, Recorded in October 1968 at Olympic Studios in London and released by Atlantic Records on January 12, 1969. Initially, the album garnered mostly negative press reviews, but was a great commercial success and was subsequently highly praised by rock critics. Album release date, January 12, 1969, Kerrang magazine! CERRONE-LOVE IN C MINOR-1976-FIRST PRESS USA-COTILLION-SD9913. A rare American original of a cult album. Love in C Minor is the debut album by French musician and producer Jean-Marc Cerron, released in 1976 in France on Malligator, in Europe on Atlantic, in Spain on Hispavox, and in the USA in 1977 on Cotillion. Now Cerrone is already called a "legend of dance music", who had a huge impact on entire generations of DJs and is considered, along with Giorgio Moroder, the trendsetter of Eurodiscoe. One of the centers of Eurodisco (along with Munich) was London's Trident Studios, which was fueled by France. It was here that Parisians Jean-Marc Cerron and Alec R. Costandinos decided to record their first disco opus with the assistance of sound engineer Peter Kelsey. As a result, an album was born called Love in C Minor.  At the Billboard Disco Forum in 1978, Cerrone received six awards, including Artist of the Year in Disco Music. ...more
