Burnin' Sky was recorded in France at the Château d'Hérouville in July and August 1976 with future Rolling Stones sound engineer Chris Kimsey. Formed in Birmingham, the Fortunes first gained fame and international recognition in 1965, when "You've Got Your Troubles" broke into the Top 10 of the USA, Canada and the UK. They subsequently had a string of hits, including "Here It Comes Again" and "Here Comes That Rainy Day Feeling Again", and in the 1970s they released even more internationally successful songs such as "Storm in a Teacup" and "Freedom Come, Freedom Go". DEEP PURPLE-FIREBALL-1971-SECOND PRESS 1972 JAPAN-WARNER-P-8092W Rare Japanese edition of the cult album. Fireball is the fifth studio album by the British rock band Deep Purple. Recorded between September 1970 and June 1971, it was released in September 1971 on the Harvest Records label. The album was recorded at De Lane Lea Studios (like its predecessor). Compared to Deep Purple in Rock, this album was recorded in a more experimental style. Allmusic named it one of the band's four most important albums, along with Machine Head, In Rock and Burn. Ian Gillan, unlike the rest of the band, considers this album a classic of Deep Purple. However, he noted that the inclusion of "Anyone's Daughter" on the album (in a country style and with humorous lyrics) was fun, but a mistake ("A good bit of fun, but a mistake"). Jon Lord highlighted several tracks on the album, such as "No No No" and "Fools", and especially noted Pace's performance on the title track. The track "Strange Kind of Woman", released as a single in February 1971 and rose to number eight in the UK charts. It sold 20,000 copies in the first week. Summer Vacation is an album of soundtracks by Cliff Richard and The Shadows for the film of the same name. This is their second soundtrack album for the film and Richard's eighth album overall. The album topped the UK Albums chart for 14 weeks. Three singles were released from the album. Before the album's release, the songs "The Next Time" and "Bachelor Boy" (on side A and side B respectively) were already hits. A very rare British original of Clapton's iconic concert.  n Concert is a double live album recorded by Derek and the Dominos in October 1970 at the Fillmore East and released in January 1973. Six of the album's nine tracks were later included on the 1994 album Live at the Fillmore. The three songs that were not included in it are "Why Does Love Got to Be So Sad", "Let It Rain" and "Tell the Truth". Live at the Fillmore also includes these songs, although they are from other sets rather than the ones featured here. The album received gold status in the USA. ...more
