A mega rare original of the first album by the iconic British prog band.  Warhorse is a band formed by ex-Deep Purple bassist Nick Simper. The band existed from 1970 to 1974 (partial reunions in 1985, 2005). The band's sound was close to the style of the early Deep Purple.  After his forced departure from Deep Purple, Nick Simper started organizing a new band. Initially, he planned to involve well-known musicians Albert Lee and Mick Underwood in the collaboration, but this alliance did not take place. The new band was based on guitarist Jed Pack and drummer Mac Poole, musicians who played with Simper in the accompanying Marsha Hunt line—up. The new band also includes vocalist Ashley Holt and keyboardist Rick Wakeman. The band received the name "Iron Horse", which was soon changed to "Warhorse". Wakeman proved to be an unreliable partner and left the band in April, before the band had even made any recordings. Instead, keyboardist Frank Wilson was recruited into the band, with whom the debut demo "Miss Jane" was made. In 1970, the band signed a contract with Phonograms, a division of Vertigo Records, and began recording their debut album. The Warhorse album was released in November 1970. The song "St. Louis" (a cover of "Easybeats") was released as a single and was most popular with the public. BEATLES-A COLLECTION OF BEATLES OLDIES (STEREO)-1966-ORIGINAL PRESS 1972 JAPAN-APPLE-AP-8016. A rare Japanese edition of the iconic album. A Collection of Beatles Oldies is a collection containing a selection of songs by The Beatles recorded from 1963 to 1966. The album was released in 1966 by Parlophone in the UK and Australia, in both mono and stereo versions. By the pre-Christmas season of 1966, the EMI label had no new musical material from The Beatles for the first time in three years. The compilation was an alternative suitable to meet EMI's demand for new products, as the band had just begun recording Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band, the follow-up to their album Revolver, released in the summer. It was the first official compilation of the band's greatest hits, although the Beatles did not participate in the creation of the album. The album peaked at number six on the UK Albums Chart. The album cover contributed to the myth of "Paul is dead", as in the cover illustration, the road seems to lead directly into the head of a sitting person (as if secretly hinting: "Paul died on the road, in a car accident"). ...more

Summer Vacation is an album of soundtracks by Cliff Richard and The Shadows for the film of the same name. This is their second soundtrack album for the film and Richard's eighth album overall. The album topped the UK Albums chart for 14 weeks. Three singles were released from the album. Before the album's release, the songs "The Next Time" and "Bachelor Boy" (on side A and side B respectively) were already hits. It was followed by "Summer Holiday" and finally "Foot Tapper" (performed by The Shadows). All three singles topped the UK singles chart. ...more
