The album, produced by Chas Chandler, was the first released under the Slade name since the band's 1969 debut album was released under the Ambrose Slade name. It was the first time that the singer appeared in the capital of Great Britain since 1953. On June 1, Sinatra was scheduled to perform a charity concert at midnight at the Royal Festival Hall in London in front of an audience that included many British celebrities and dignitaries, including Queen Elizabeth II's younger sister, Princess Margaret.
