A rare British original by a cult prog band. Levitation is the tenth studio album by the English rock band Hawkwind, released in 1980. It reached number 21 on the UK Albums Chart. During the album's release, bandleader Dave Brock stated, "With Levitation, we returned to the style of our debut album. And it was a record that fully expressed our ideals and what we fought for."  This is their first studio album since the departure of lead vocalist and lyricist Robert Calvert, and the lyrics here are usually superficial, and the number of instrumental parts is increased. It is also Hawkwind's only studio album to feature former Cream drummer Ginger Baker, and the first for former Gong keyboardist Tim Blake, who later rejoined the band and played on the 2010 album Blood of the Earth. ...more

"Happy Together" is a song written by Harry Bonner and Alan Gordon and recorded by the American rock band The Turtles. It was released as a single in January 1967, along with the song "Like the Seasons" (B-side), and reached number one on the US Billboard Hot 100 chart, becoming the band's first and only chart-topping hit.
